Bonino is carrying Crosby and Malkin. That much I admit. Penguins probably would have been in the Matthews/Laine sweepstakes if not for Bonino.

Nice straw man genius. I said he was an integral part of their playoff success. Anyone who has their head out of Benning's ass would not deny that.

Hmmm. Totally possible just seems kind of like a knee jerk reaction. Agree to disagree about Guddy being a true top 2 dman but he'll go to war for your team and his teammates. I guess we'll wait and see

Do you know Mccann? No. Do I? No. Does Twitter: YES. Guy was a cancer. Huge a-hole.

Just means we get to spend more time arguing who won the David Booth for that German guy trade or Luongo for Markstrom or Bure for Jovo and McCann for Gudbranson.

One thing about Benning, he's slowly building a very big team.

Tallon gave Benning a present before he comes and steals his job.

Where is your list of Bonino-type third liners that are carried deep into the playoffs by actual top 6 players? Not much to say genius? And Bonino didn't even have 20 pts until March...
- LordHumungous

What list are you talking about? You wanna make a list be my guest but I don't understand what ur point is and you've done absolutely (frank) all to deny any of the 6 very clear unambiguous claims I made.

Hahaha, you know when someone has a poop argument when they have to choose arbitrary dates to make it seem like they have a point. Like me saying Getzlaf worse than Sutter because Getz didn't have many goals before Christmas. GTFO with that cherry-picking the statistically convenient time frame bullpoop.

You know what time frame counts most? The playoffs, and he is getting it done when it counts providing more value than Sutter has or probably ever will for the Nucks.

Integral part of their success eh. I guess keeping the press box warm during the year really helped the boys out. Going to be tough for voters to decide who wins the Conn Smythe (Bonino or Pavelski) but I'm confident when they look at Bonino's entire body of work (blazing fast speed, tough as nails, hard hitter) they will make the right choice. If Pens were smart they would flip Bonino in the offseason for someone like Doughty or Kane. Would hurt to lose Bonino but he will command league maximum salary.

Twitter is blowing up with a lot of insiders and people close to the situation saying Mccann was a total a-hole. He has that kind of a-hole face. I'm glad Benning was about to flip him for a top pairing d-man.
- hankthetank

The inside source was "Beth Bartkowski" saying that young boy who couldn't stop eating wasn't a nice boy. That's it, we're going to hear Beth again all summer

Penguins depth cart at centre:

1. Bonino

2. Crosby
3. Malk- Who the hell cares, just play Bonino every other shift and watch the wins pile up.

- hankthetank

as teams get deeper in the playoffs and checking tightens up the top two lines are a wash and depth takes over... being the difference maker..... joel ward in sj

Holy (frank) man you really like making straw man arguments and arguing with nobody about points you've just created.

If you don't know what a straw man argument is I highly suggest you look it up and read it with better comprehension than you have in this argument so far.

I said he was an integral part of their playoff success and you come back talking about the regular season.

Guess what, Bonino wasn't the only Pens player who struggled under Johnson and has excelled under Sullivan.

This trade will at least hopefully mean the end of Bartkowski and Weber
