I think the Pens have played better throughout the series and they should have some momentum after nearly coming back in the 3rd period of the last game. It's been good hockey to watch.

Even if the Marlies were an option, I don't think Marner should go there.

I was pissy thinking he couldn't be in the AHL because of the rules but then when I was watching the Devils vs Marlies series...I changed my mind.

There are 30 year old men in the AHL. Men who aren't making the NHL. Men who start to run other players when they lose and don't give a poop because they're never making the NHL. It is a dirtier league IMO.

I am actually starting to think it is safer in the NHL for Marner because he has the talent, there is definitely less goonery, more structure and less guys like Torres and Avery now.

be good to see if Perron can outplay Marner in the Mem Cup. Just to see the reactions from Leaves fans to see Ottawa has a prospect on the same level as the 'next one' Like when  Perry outplayed Crosby in the Mem Cup, nobody wanted to admit it, because Crosby had so much glare on him, but it goes to show that these tournaments go a long way to determine the growth of the prospects.
