Pretty funny they put the same power play unit out
- NYI44

Yep and they'll do the same stupid shat. And then Capuano will send out the same second pp unit and then mix up all the lines five on five bcs that always works.

Of course you would. Hedman is good but the team he's playing against right now is making him look like a super star.

Looks exactly like the Rangers now

Well, I'll leave the subject with this:
At the time of that draft, I argued that Hedman was a 6'5" Nicholas Lidstrom. That he had the goods to eventually become one of the greatest dmen in modern hockey. I knew that JT was great but lacked the pure skating ability to ever approach that status for forwards. Both had excellent leading abilities and had played at the top of their respective areas. (JT proved me wrong when he vastly improved his skating)
Now in a vacuum, if I'm building a team and have a choice to draft a franchise dman with Hedman's goods versus a forwad with JT's abilities, I'd typically go with the dman. The fact is they are a more rare breed. Especially when you look at Hedman's ability/size.
Now no one can judge this until their careers are over. In this series, Hedman's completely erased JT AND managed to outscore anyone else in the NHL. How many dmen do you think could do that today?

So what's the excuse today? Refs? Hawt goalie?

Big question is how long of an extension does Cappy get

Tampa had a one week layoff and they lost the first game, but otherwise they have gotten better as they got healthier.

First game Greiss outplayed Bishop, otherwise their players have been as good or better. Except Hedman who has outplayed our entire d and put JT in the backseat.

Our team is our typical worn out undermanned playoff team.
Quine and Prince were nice additions but no comparison to the TAM middle forwards.

I dont think they would have done it without Drouin but this Tampa team is looking sneaky good....all the other teams get the press and all they do is win...now if Stamkos was able to come back......

If he's back next season it shows how much the general manager cares about winning. This is a (frank)ing disgrace. Same issues every season that are never fixed. I can hear it already;
" well two of the games went to overtime so they could have gone either way."

I'm not watching this team next season if all of these clowns are still here. Im pretty sure I actually mean that I can't stomach watching this uninspired garbage how can a (frank)ing team come out like this in an elimination game?

Legit question for Isles fans.......is it really just coaching or is it the players too? possibly both? if both then isnt Snow as much to blame as anyone?

Hopefully we get a good return on Hamonic, Okposo's rights, and even Frans. I have a strange feeling KO stays and we get fleeced on Hammer

Honestly, a Stralman return is more important.

Players definitely get some blame, but this team has the same mental/tactical errors year after year, so that is coaching.

Snow kept him around, so he owns overall responsibility

With all the injuries and inconsistencies, I had NO expectation for the Bolts this season.

Surprised Cappy hasn't pulled the goalie for an extra skater yet.

I dont think you guys will get fleeced......like if you traded with us its not like you are getting a bag of pucks back...but you certainly are not going to get a D man like him with that cap friendly contract back either....mainly because not too many guys have sweet deals like that

I get the Cappy hate but at the end of the day this is Snows team...if anyone should be escorted out it should be him then the other dominos will fall

Watching them now, I see them as good or better than either PITT or WAS.

I just happy for hockey in May, but Pittsburgh worries me.
