The gentle giant. Biggest wimp ever

Fortunately once past our 4th line, we can out wimp just about anyone.

Probably a good thing I'm catching the rest of this one from the road. Well, maybe not for the the other drivers.

So much for coming out with desperation in a game where your season's on the line

Tells you everything you need to know about this team. Real teams win a game to stay alive when down 3-1, pretenders pack it in and get embarrassed.

This team is just flat out poorly coached. To be in a situation like this and to come out as flat as they have told us all we need to know about Capuano's system. While I am not counting them out yet, I think there will be major changes made in the off-season. It will not hurt to lose guys like Bailey and Okposo. Hopefully they will learn from this and go a step further next year. It would still be nice to see a big push over the next two periods.

Whelp, when they take their foot off the gas in the previous game, allowing a tying goal and then sleep in OT, yet the coach says it's the best game they played all year...sorta sets the stage for,.....this

I donno. I'm worried that the opening series win will be enough to extend Cappy. I don't consider it any guarantee that the new ownership will look at this the same as we do.

His 2 goals this series is more than most can show. Sadly.

As much as a lot of blame falls on Cappy, at the same time, the players shouldn't need a coach to motivate them for a win or die game. The only line that showed up once again was the fourth line.

Could merit a 2yr extension at least, which will be the wrong decision....

Has as many goals as Nash did in the playoffs...

But no, he is not a top liner...except in our GM's head—new owners take note.

Don't you have some glass windows, walls & floors to clean?

True but when certain players make the same mistakes/poor decisions all throughout their career and you keep them on your roster, you kinda have to assume some of the blame.

At this point, I am hoping for a blowout. Something that leaves a real ugly taste in their mouths for the plane ride home.

Feels like watching a replay of game 7 against the Caps last year.

They need veteran forwards desperately (guys like Boyle/Callahan/Filpulla etc). Their "veteran" forward is Bernier.

When your coach comes out after giving up a late lead and sleeping through overtime and claims that it was the team's best performance of the Season that sort of sets the stage for something like this.

Hickey on the PK standing 5 feet away from Boyle while he screens our goalie.

Those decisions kinda tell the whole story. (frank) this noise.
