A lot of points and minutes played your talking about.

Interested in who replaces them. Not saying your wrong or right but who do we replace them with?

Again that's the job of a Gm..... If he cant attract FA's then he has to be creative thru trade....

Wow, really happy for your GF that she mustered up the courage to get some headshots taken.

I don't want to trade Martin. Nielsen has to be upgraded along with okposo. Can't keep hoping these guys all of a sudden start playing well in the playoffs. Signing nielsen at 32 to an extension is stupid and the guy was once again rendered ineffective and this wonderful defensive game that people think of has been absent for over two seasons now. Have to find viable replacements from inside or outside the orginization.

Hmm makes sense but grass is always greener on the other side. Okposo I feel is a quality player and won't be that easy to replace. Barzal and Dal Colle amongst other prospects will soften the blow but as you see with Strome and Nelson and Lee young players are often inconsistent.

Another guy I'd go after if he makes it to UFA, which I think there is an outside chance of:

Mike Hoffman from OTT.

Scored 29 goals this year (and 27 the year before). I think he could be a solid winger for Johnny.

Not sure what the odds of him making it to UFA are, but just throwing it out there.

I'm not overly attached to Nielsen, but who's going to play 2nd line center if he goes? Nelson? Not sure how comfortable I am with that. I am probably the biggest Barzal fanboy there is, but I'm not holding my breath that he'll step into a big role like that and be an adequate replacement.

I think Nielsen still has value, but I haven't the slightest idea what kind of money he wants.

- eichiefs9

Nielse isn't a second line center to begin with and there in lies the problem. His game has deteriorated and it's not going to get better going on 33 so signing him males little sense. That's without even factoring him being useless and a liability the entire Tampa series. If we resign him any of his fan boys shouldn't be too shocked watching the garbage we just witnessed yesterday again.

That's what you're signing up for. Both okposo and him are useless in the playoffs. Are we a playoff team? If so lets start acting like one and get rid of players that seem to have issues playing in them rather than signing up for another 5-7 years of garbage playoff performances.

Exactly Cpt. Frans and KO had their shot and do not come through. Time to move on and stop bringing the same players back. Garth had a chance at bringing the same players and coaches back and failed.

I would sign Kreider to offer sheet and see what CHI wants for Shaw and then go from there....

Shaw's another guy I've thought about. Can't expect Chicago to be asking for the moon when they're in the cap situation that they are. He'd be a good third or fourth line center, depending on where you want to play Casey.

Pass on Kreider. Offer sheets don't happen, but even if they did I wouldn't want him.

Of course but who? Very easy to say get rid of this guy, this guy, and this guy but how and who do you replace them with. Just asking for peoples opinions especially the Franz and KO haters.

If Snow was serious about upgrading this team, those two would be PRIORITIES. Hopefully that's the case.

Tavares, NYC + team has $$$ to spend, plus improving every year is enticing enough to attract players.

Didn't Snow somehow get Boychuk/Leddy here? So once again do your job and get better players somehow. Trust me if I had a crystal ball I'll tell ya who....

Hall would be nearly impossible. I'm talking Hamonic + top prospect (Barzal or Dal Colle) for him.

Ur Not Me, you will need to get over the love you have for KO and Frans. They have been a big part of so many great wins and I know it's hard to let go.
