If the difference between getting eberle or hall is adding nelson or strome to the package then you add one of them. - Isles_since_6
After these playoffs, you wouldn't have to try too hard to convince me to add both |

He is the heart and soul of this team and if he is gone they will all be worse for it... period. I have watched very talented teams with zero toughness Stink in this league b/c they were intimidated. Martin is worth A LOT more than 2 mill a year. What he brings is FAR better than a Bailey at his number. - niteislander
No he's not. Not at all. |

I don't think strome should have been scratched, I think it should have been nelson. he's a very timid player for a guy who scored 26 goals. could that change with coaching? possibly. |

Let's not put Hall and Eberle in the same sentence. Hall is a MUCH better player than Eberle. If you traded a Hamonic and Brock Nelson for an Eberle it would be 1 year away from being called a horrific trade as Brock continued to get better and would surpass Eberle in stats.

If you pay your fourth liners more than 2 mil each you end up without top end talent because you can’t afford to pay them. He’s a good bottom line guy, but he’s not worth more than 1.8 imo. |

I don't know. He certainly has the talent. Not really sure what his issue is. I think one of those two are gone next year, just a hunch. |

Should have been traded within the last 2yrs, but u homers think he's some good player, dumbass cant even stay on his skates.....
Frans - has to go, keep another player who hasn't done anything, you guys crack me up with this team.....
Martin - not going anywhere bc of girlfriend but honestly is a 4th line player that "IS" replaceable.... - Ur Not Me
So you are letting #2 and #3 in points for this team just walk? Is there a sale at the local Piggly Wiggly on replacements? WHO is going to come here? This team hasn't landed a certifiable FA in years.
There has to be a gameplan, if they over price themselves out then there is nothing you can do. But you can't just let everyone go knowing this team has a hard time signing FA's. Then it will be rebuild #2. |

I'd be fine with dumping Kulemin and moving Clutterbuck up, but I don't want anymore guys like Martin. Physical is good, but if you can't function as a hockey player I don't have much interest.
No idea what will happen with any potential trades with Edmonton, but a guy like Hendricks would be a nice throw-in to take Martin's place. He's not young, but he's a capable player that fits on the fourth line, makes reasonable money and is only signed through the end of next season. - eichiefs9
I always wanted Chimera bc of his speed being a 4th liner but his days are ending soon enough bc of age... |

That's the problem new ownership has to figure out, and Snow has to do a better job with.... |

This team doesn’t take the next step with okposo at 7 mil per on the roster. He’s not going to be part of it and he is replaceable. |

You would hope new ownership and maybe a new GM and coach would have better luck in signing FA's. Wang being out of the picture can only help. |

I think the Wang/Snow gong show just didn't get the proper respect around the league. |

Might be a bit optimistic I think. Brock does many things well and I for one am very much a fan (although his playoff performance...). But for all his warts Eberle is and will continue to be a borderline elite scoring RW.
I don't know if Brock's production will ever reach the level that Eberle produces at, but I think down the stretch he will be a more complete player in all aspects of the game. |

Just shut up and take Hamonic and Bailey for Hall and the 4th. |
