You're right. That may have played into his decision as EDM had his roster spot on a silver platter. Mcdavid definitely helps as well.

Yes. And he is definitely a good example of an undrafted college FA.

History just shows that it does not work out. The NCAA is becoming a much better league compared to the other's, but still nothing to get worked up about by missing out on this player.
