With that in mind I think Eberle is untradable. Moving Ebs would leave a massive hole that would take a complete revamp of our right shooting forwards. As it is I think we will still need to add a top 9 RW. Since Yak is gone in the offseason.
- Aerchon
Or we just trade Eberle and sign one of Brouwer, Sceviour, Hudler, Chimera, Stewart or Parenteau. None of the above should cost what Eberle does and with the "McDavid effect" well documented with players like Pouliot, Yak, and Maroon, they would likely also be effective enough offensively (not same production but adequate) and probably worlds better defensively (for the most part). |

I know it will be difficult but I believe we can move forward with a team with no holes. I think that is more important than the OP.

Whether we trade a LW or center that is an area we can afford to move someone out. Our salary structure is too forward heavy so moving one of Hall or RNH imo inevitable. I would actually prefer to move Eberle than either but opening a hole in our line up just isnt worth it.
Trading for Rd like Harmonic or better is a must. However if it is Harmonic we still need a heavy Rd on the PP.
To just follow the shortest simplest path I would think it would go like this.
Rnh for Harmonic striaght up or some slight variations.
Draft Dubios as a replacement for Rnh down the road.
Trade Yak for Dumba straight up or some slight variation.
Sign a guy like Chris Stewart to improve on Yak.
Sign one of Gyrba or Pardy for right side depth.
Sign an experienced back up goalie.
That would give us an actually balanced team that should be able to push for a playoff spot.
Hall Leon Stewart
Maroon McDavid Eberle
Poo Lets Kassian
Hendricks Kharia Pakarinen
Yakimov Lander Slepy
Sekera Harmonic
Klefbom Fayne
Davidson Dumba
Nurse Gyrba
Reinhart
Talbot
Xxx new experienced back up..
LB - Aerchon
Can Nuge play wing? Otherwise, I don't really see a fit for him here. Nielsen figures to re-sign and Barzal has a shot to make the team next year. Islanders have a ton of natural centers already on the roster. |

I came on here a few days ago and mentioned that any of you guys could be the Oilers GM and have gotten similar results since the Cup run. And you still could, except for Aerchon

As the friendly Isles fan said, the Isles are loaded with centers. Nuge likely isn't on their radar.
If Minnie would trade Dumba for Yak then great. If I was Minnie I wouldn't though. They need centers not wingers and I wouldn't trade Nuge for Dumba.
Yakimov has fled back to the Motherland. I'm not sure he has any intention of returning. |

He's been back for a couple months. Since his team was eliminated from the playoffs, in fact. |

Would you trade the n00g for Brodin? |

Oh. How did I miss that?
Planning on a full AHL campaign next year? Or no word yet? |

I'd move Nuge there for either Dumba or Brodin and another roster player. Doesn't need to be a great one either. Just some extra depth, though there was a time where a Wild fan suggested Nuge for Brodin+Granlund. If that was on the table, I take it happily. |

Adding Hamonic and Brodin would be quite the coup for Chiarelli this offseason. |

I believe so. I think he had fallen into a sophomore rut so he determined it would be beneficial for him to get some time back in Russia. It coincided quite closely with Slepyshev's injury, as well. |

Seems to be quite the hotly debated topic around here
I'm at the point where I just don't know what to think. I know what I want and I also have no idea what I think is fair.
Honestly, both teams are dealing from both a position of strength and a position of weakness. |

I think he is worth a 30ish goal RW and a 3rd in 2016. To be specific. |

So you'll give us a 2016 3rd rounder if we re-sign Okposo? |
