Obviously bourbon is easier to get your hands on here, but ever try Knob Creek Single Barrel? I really like Woodford, but Knob Creek makes some great Bourbons.

lot 40 is good. alberta premium is 100% rye and it's not bad either. lot 40 is better than regular alberta premium though imo.

Ive heard the stuff hitting the stores right now is the second batch. Which apparently isn't as good as the first. Who knows.

Alberta Springs is 100% and is an awesome whisky. The Canadian Club 100% is pretty good too.

It's hard to compare, JD and southern US stuff is a different style.

It's funny how rye is becoming a marketing point now. People, myself included, always thought Canadian whisky was rye, but traditionally most of it isn't. Distillers using it now is kind of retro and it's working well.

Can the leafs have 2 AHL affiliates? They're running out of space for their prospects

I just this week found that we have it in here in NorCal at about $20 a bottle... I haven't picked one up yet, but I will soon

Although really, there is no loss here for the Leafs. The worst case scenario is they add a blue chip prospect to a bunch they already have, to be mentored by Shannaloucock. It's the greatest state of affairs for a Leafs fan since '67, even if they pick fourth.
