I'd rather go the trade route for the offense. Not a big fan of overpaying for a FA.

Doubt it. Edmonton and Vancouver have both said if they don't get top three picks they are taking defenceman. That leaves us with Dubiois or maybe Nylander

If TM wants to move up the team to trade with would be Edm. A good D will be around at 8. If we want a F, a trade with Edm to move up would make sense.
