Not sure. I see JB as being hired based on his strengths... which is drafting. The owner recognized the obvious... so few prospects... generation gap. Once the organization is re-stocked and players are maturing, if the team fails to be competitive... I assume their will be replacements hired.
JB is going to have to improve his trading capabilities. The strategy of hiring the BPA every draft doesn't usually balance out a roster. He's going to have to sign and trade for that. If he fails when the time comes. Hire some experience...

I agree with this.
I like that Aquilini has hired people with new ideas on how a NHL team is to be managed. But I don't like the fact he's gone out and hired two rookie GMs in a row now.
I think we can all agree the first experiment, although it had some very high moments, overall was a failure. So what does he do… goes right back out and hires another management team with little experience in the positions.
Wonder why he’s shying away from more established names.
