JV/McCann out of the line-up? AHL? - we_are_all_canucks
AHL seems like the obvious but Benning likes having him under close eye of the Canucks . |

Good, then we keep him, and play him with the sedins, and trade him at the deadline, and eat half his salary to increase his worth.

I love the goals he scores. He shows he has the touch, just needs a little time. The bonus w JV is that he will be power forward type which is sorely needed. Lets see what he brings next season - SMBDragon
JV lays out big hits & will find a spot prolly. His progress determines where & how he will play & even possibly gets some seasoning in the AHL along with JM. So much depends on the draft & UFA signings.

That'll be an interesting story line this season, now that JV and JM are able to be sent down to the AHL.
I think JV has a spot to lose so to speak.
JM will depend on training camp and preseason. I would not be surprised to see JM start in the AHL and get called up when the inevitable injuries occur. |

Brooks? - VANTEL
It sounded like Brooks in the background responding. I am not sure if it was too professional on Boyle's part but I guess things can get to you as a player, and at that point in your career. |

I agree that its his to lose....UNLESS there is a big change this summer in the lineup. |

Sure, but there would have to be a whole lot of roster additions for that to happen. I can see him on the 4th line if need be and would not have a problem with that personally. |

I would. He needs to play if his role isn't defined in the top 3 he needs to play as a #1 in Utica. |

Im surprised brooks still has a pass to MSG. THat would be the correct way...call the newspaper he works for, inform them and tell them why. Eventually There will be no more maggots from media arriving to your pressers, they'll not employ such disrespectful people. They will assign him some other team and send better people to your pressers |

My jokes toward Nucker are all in fun. Believe it or not I actually like Nucker and debating with him. He has an opinion. We almost never agreed but he was good to have around. People have a problem with him because he is a bandwagoner. Jumping from team to team. He is still a good fan of hockey and passionate. I would like to see him in here more often. I am sure you of all people know about guys going after you for having your own opinion. |

Most of us here enjoyed his debates. Most of it was joking. He got really negative at the end.

He did. The JB/Linden/WD hate was extreme. Short sightedness of youth. |
