so let me get this straight....you credit WD with getting them to playoffs and ANY success but its not his fault when they lose and finish almost dead last?? THats pretty selective opinion there.
And this years roster was far better than last years at that. Of course MANY coaches are good with youngsters, he's not the only 1.

He isnt NHL quality, he's in way over his head. Even broadcasters on television were laughing at him. Seems like a decent guy n all but hes a WHL/AHL coach, not NHL. D coach is even worse and MORE of a reasoning for our failure than WD.

We need coaches that use a style that wins cup as every cup winner for quite a number of years has had that. Obviously you cant win it without that. So we should pursue a coach that uses THAT instead. No point in having a coach that cannot win the cup.

Then what you're saying is that because the broadcast panel was laughing at him that makes him not NHL quality...in other words Benning could go up to the broadcast booth, and let's say, pick the guy that chuckled the most and make him the new coach...because he was laughing and is an obvious well educated and knowledgeable...has to be if he was laughing at WD.

I know I'm being facetious, but WD isn't that bad or the overall problem with this team...compounding issues brought about the end result.

Well in Willie's system, apparently that was Jake's guy. Maybe for Babcock its the Defenseman's guy, you cant tell without being in the room. Maybe he was teaching them a box plus 1 zone defense and Jake or McCann never played that in Jr's? Or maybe he's doing man-to-man? Those are defensive systems, so yeah maybe you should bring some facts to your arguments instead of just calling people dumb

I was asked a question directly and I answered it, Im not posting my thoughts daily like many do.

Another problem with firing WD is, right now they are a losing club in transition. Putting the blame of the season and letting go of the head coach takes that big target off the coach and shifts it to the GM with the same transitioning team. Before firing the coach, you better make sure the team is ready to turn the corner, because as GM you are the next target.

I've asked you about it several times and this is always your response. Back it up, thats all I ask. It took me 30 seconds to find a clip of Willie coaching a system, if you can find something that proves otherwise I would be happy to be convinced.

You do keep referencing the broadcasters laughing/questioning WD's line usage, and I agree with that. The stats dont lie that he used Doresett the most when down a goal, its a questionable tactic and if WD is going to be an NHL coach he needs to pay more attention to that. But your claims on the lack of a system are unfounded, and thats where I am trying to engage you in a discussion where you can "help me see it" because every highlight I see are inadequate players making mistakes and the wrong reads
