What about Leier in training camp? 20 goal scorer with the Phantoms with less then stellar center play. I don't think he'll be relied upon for the top 6, but he is just the kind of low cap hit who hopefully can give you 15 goals a year with no PP time which is pretty important to be a serious cup contender

I think Leier would qualify under Hexy's "ripened" category having played 144 games for the Phantoms.

Is there anyway for Schenn to dispute the suspension or for the team to get involved? Honest question cause I haven't bothered to look it up myself.

Yeah he really needs to have a good showing in camp. He's rapidly approaching that now or never point. I don't know how good of a PKer he is. He'll need to excel there to have a shot
