Enough to put us in a very nice position moving forward with players needing extensions, players needing their new contracts off ELCs, maybe a couple medium sized FAs.

Or enough to throw money at all the highest priced FAs and scream YOLO! while jumping off the Comcast Center.

you know if homer was here it would be full guns ahead for stamkos.

whoever has been trotting out demers. i think that is a nice target.

I am a Cowboys fan. I could care less who is the QB. Just saying I haven't heard Bradford himself make excuses or complain. I have heard it from fans and others.

I understand the need for a franchise QB and planning for the future. But I can also see why Bradford might be a little pissed too.

- J35Bacher

in a crazy and impossible hypothetical situation. if one of those 2 qbs fell to four, would you take him? or would you go with whoever is there of ramsey/bosa

I have a lot of trouble seeing it from his side in a way that makes sense. I get it sucks if maybe he was mislead, but the guy was OK last year on a one year deal. Never really did anything in St. Louis and has missed a lot of time with injuries. They signed him to a 2 year deal which shouldn't instill any confidence that he is their long term starter.

Why in the world should he feel disrespected that the Eagles are trading up to draft 2nd overall and get a potential future quarterback? Maybe the guy they draft is a bust, maybe Bradford is lights out and they go with him longer than a year or two. Makes no sense to me that now he's demanding a trade and refuses to show up for off season work outs. The guy has done nothing to earn the right to be the number 1 guy without any questions asked.

In that instance the picks they used to trade up would be wasted and could have better used in making the team better(corners, pass rush, offensive line).

Besides Stamkos, the list isn't all that enticing as far as free agents go....

I may be the only who thinks so, but I wouldn't mind seeing Jagr brought back if the price was right.

damn but you have forever to give wentz 3 years before you play him?

in today's nfl that is unheard of. rodgers was the last guy that will ever get to marinate like that.

- stayinthefnnet

there's no way Goff or Wentz will be playing after 1 or 2 years especially in the eagles current state. let bradford be the guy to absorb all the hits while they get their poop under control

I don't like the qb's this year.

I want Ramsey at 4 if he gets past Chargers. I think he is best player in draft.

Edit: I feel like the QB's are overrated this year because it is not a great QB class. If the QB's were that good there is no way Cleveland trades out of two. Last years QB's would be like shopping at Whole Foods where this years QB's are more like Aldi.

Wentz isn't starting right away. Bradford is on a lucrative, glorified 1 year contract. If he does a great job, like he thinks he can do, there will be teams lining up to give him his big contract. I don't get his gripe.

I like him but Dallas has cap room and no reason to get rid of him though

So if he takes the eagles to the 2nd round of playoffs you would cut or trade Bradford Bradford the following year?

Depends probably on if they resign Goligoski. Not sure their exact cap situation.

My biggest worry going forward is Jake Voracek. His problem to me looks to be more of a mental/confidence issue than a physical one. I know he had that foot injury, but that shouldn't cause plays to absolutely die on his stick. He looks completely lost.

He actually had a play in the third yesterday where he cut in from the half boards and whipped a shot from the slot that really tested Holtby. That's the kind of thing he was doing last year in every game. That was one of the first times I saw him do it this year.

If they got a good trade for him yeah...he is on a 2 year deal so there is no need to get rid of him. They just have an out after 1 year

So if Bradford shows improvement to the point where we make the 2nd round, the Eagles would be fools to cut him. They would likely have him play out his 2nd year. There's no concerns with Wentz sitting two years if it means that the Eagles are winning and Wentz is learning. It's really a win-win for the Eagles. That's why the contract was structured as such. And Bradford (and his agent) are not idiots. They knew what they were signing up for.

Again, Bradford has no basis for his complaint here...

So you make it to the 2nd round and then move on from him.

What does that tell your fanbase and team?

With a rookie QB your going to have some growing pains when he starts.

i'm actually a pretty big believer in bradfords game. everything about last year was disjointed as (frank).

the receivers as a whole were ridiculously bad. matthews really isn't that good at the position. your speed receivers were what, riley cooper and miles austin? behind that line you werent going to get a successful route past 15 yards with those guys before you were smashed.

With a proven player like Jake, I think you'd prefer mental issues vs. physical issues. He's done it before and he can do it again. He just shakes off the mental issue. Easier said than done, I'm sure; but it's much preferable to a chronic ankle, etc.

They have Goligoski to resign too. It may be a case of one or the other, and I believe I read they are more keen on resigning Goligoski. I also don't know where Kris Russell comes into things. But even without him, Demers has a solid chance of hitting FA. He'd probably be taking a discount contract to stay with the Stars.

He's just not elite enough, therefore the Flyers need to go out there and get someone who is truly elite (because those are everywhere and pay that person actual elite type money) because Giroux is massively overpaid. No way the market dictated the money he got, only the Flyers would've given him that money. Im sure the Flyers can go out there and get someone better. I bet no Flyers fan would than complain about the player they would go out and get to replace G.

The offseason will hopefully be good for him. He wouldnt be the first highly paid player to have a down year statistically. The talent is there...its not as if he suddenly became a bad player
