Based on both. The Flyers had the third fewest RS points among the teams that have gone/will go out in the first round. So the Wild will pick 15th, the Red Wings 16th and the Flyers 17th.

i dont think lucic is very helpful for the flyers. i mean yeah he will provide some benefit, but overall, just not worth it.

when he declines, its going to come fast and sharp. and the length of the deal will take you into those years. at a high price. him and simmonds will be competing for the same spot on the PP, and he is another guy that needs to be a passenger on a line.

He contributed absolutely nothing to an offensively starved team with his 11 shots in 6 games. He looked invisible out there except when he was taking runs at everyone (ok....that was kinda fun lol). But he was every bit as bad as Giroux and Jake. Maybe worse. But he hit some people.

You can't teach size.

He had 27 points in 49 games, including 9 goals, in his draft year. But he did have 141 penalty minutes. That is amazing. And he wasn't just a first rounder. He was #16 overall.

A fun game is going to hockeydb and looking at Flyers picks under the previous GMs and seeing what garbage players were selected solely because of PIMs. Hint: a disturbing number.
