Love to have Pietrangelo in Orange and Black - Marc D
Now that Datsyuk is out he or OEL are my favorite non-Flyers.
I think I'd go with Pietrangelo, honestly |

Do we know what number the Hawks 2nd is or does it depend on Anaheim/Nashville? |

he had three swings on that one, first the post, second a clean whiff, third a backhandle shovel as doc would say |

how far up could the flyers move to trade their first rd pick + say Neuvirth
would it get them to top 10?
top 6 even? (might be a stretch) |

i really thought he was going to (frank) that up and end up accidentally kicking it in...or worse. i don't even know what worse could be...just not in.
thank god. |

oh I fully pictured Kane scoring the gw goal when it was 2-2
I was going to break things if that happened
Flyers losing didn't make me as angry as this thought
strange as that sounds |

No way. Goalies just aren't worth that much any more. To get in to the top 10 I think you're looking at Sanhiem, Morin or Schenn in addition to the 1st |

i was fearing that as well..or just as bad to me right now, that (frank)wad, shaw.
i was mad yesterday. still mad. but not that mad. i'm always mad when the playoffs end for us because i think about it taking a whole year to get back to this place. and that irritates the (frank)ing hell out of me. |

I don't think they trade Neuvy to move up...I imagine they really want to ride both goalies next year to see who they sign going forward. He might for a team with a serious goalie need move you up outside top ten. Goalie market is always unpredictable.
Maybe 2 2nds get you there. Maybe Laughton and the pick? I honestly don't want to see them move up to get a "better" player. I'd like to see them move up because they want a specific player, and that's their guy. Perhaps if they could nab a Rubtsov at 18, they could trade both 2nds to move up and pick a Mascherin or someone. I seriously would do any trade scenario I listed for a move up for Keller. |

yup because even when you know its not going to happen you still want them to win, and maybe feel there is a tiny chance while they are still playing
those three games from neuvirth I will remember for a long time, really remarkable goaltending |

I'm thinking about a 3/4/5 pick
is that even possible to move there?
I don't want to really know the price if it includes provy
even simmonds and our first would be too much for me and probably not enough for the team with the top 5 pick |

exactly.
he was spectacular. and had no chance on the only goal in game 6. what's so annoying about that is it came after the squandered 5 on 3/double minor where they took a penalty and then got back to even. just a seemingly harmless situation turns into a 2 on 1 and a goal. he almost made the save, too. |

interesting
before this last series I would be rooting for washington vs pens every damn time
now I feel like no real rooting interest, ok with either
it should be good hockey, some carnage likely too |

likewise, but not now. i hate that (frank)ing team. and i really don't hate the pens. just kind of a non-entity. sure i hate crosby, and letang, and that bowling ball head fat (frank), kessel....but i don't hate the team.

yeah i bet. its gonna be good hockey. it would be foolish to not be worried about them. these caps are complete and balanced. mature. totally different than teams past. they can win in a number of ways.
that being said, the pens can hang with them. |
