I am so so so tired of defending Voracek all day. Especially on Facebook. And yes I know it's my own fault to take those morons seriously but damn it I couldn't help it. I personally think this offseason will be good for him, as well as any addition to our roster including our prospects + free agency. Hypothetically speaking, if our gems Ivan and Travis do make it out of camp, perhaps they will attract more attention and Jake can fly more so under the radar than this season; both from a competition stand point and fans. And then obviously if we sign or acquire a top 6 forward, they will help with the added depth or even compliment Jake's skill aka a sniper for him to dish it to

Now for the Eagles, Frank Bradford and his entirety. What a piece of poop. The fact we gave him a chance last year, the fact that he was mediocre at best last year, and the fact that if we get Wentz he wouldn't even play until next year, he is a female dog and whiny little girl. The lack of character he is displaying shows he's a me first guy than a team guy. On top of all of this, what kind of NFL character is threatened by an unproven rookie QB?! Pathetic.

Bradford was a free agent. Had freedom to sign wherever he wants. When him and his agent sat down with howie to negotiate a new deal, do you think this plan was brought up by howie?

I can't stand this league anymore. Brayden Schenn gets a hearing for charging/hit to the head. I love the league's consistency.

Bellemare boards Orlov? One game suspension. Deserving.
Chimera boards Voracek? Not even a hearing.
Ovechkin charges on almost every hit he delivers? Nothing, he's a star so it's okay.
Letang slashes Ranger in throat? Not even a hearing.
Shaw uses a derogatory term and inappropriate hand gesture? One game suspension and a fine.

I just don't see how you (B!tchford) can think that when offered a 2 year bridge deal basically. I mean he has it set pretty nice... Play for a year get paid several millions while you teach a rookie the way and then have a chance to prove yourself to be a starter for another, and even, better team. I mean did he just read the newspaper last week? We've been linked to moving up in draft for months and we have been meeting with several QBs in the draft intensively. Even Howie went out, which he never does. Just completely cowardly no matter how you look at it in my eyes and in my humble opinion.

Honestly the way Schenn was flying at people all series long, he probably deserved a suspension for this or something else. It did look like he may have hit through the shoulder as pp of contact. Oshie's head was low too. But the complete lack of anything the Caps do being suspendable irks me. Chimera's was textbook 5 and a game. Maybe even a suspension. His spear into the kidneys was also a textbook suspension.

I hate the narrative that the Flyers get unfair treatment but god damn....Subban on G? Nothing. Remaldo on Coots? Nothing. Did Gudas use up all our DoPS get out of suspension free cards or something? The inconsistency kills me. Keith shouldn't have played in any game in his series. DoPS is brutal.

Absolutely brutal. The Chimera boarding is the one that I just can't believe there was no review for. I've watched the replay, and it's not even close. Jake's back is to him the entire time, he drove him into the boards from behind, then had the guts to chirp him like he dove or something.

Ovie flew around just as much as Schenn did, and his hits are shown as highlights of how into the game he is. Wilson didn't lay one hit where he didn't skate half the length of the ice. I mean just totally inconsistent.
