that's why i've said he's not going to play in the NFL for a few years he needs to learn first but he's also something to look forward to if bradford can't get his poop together

Eagles fans have been clinging on to anything to believe that the front office is competent.

A few years? You don't trade that many assets for someone that will take more than a year of bench grooming. He's also 23 years old already.

Bradford got better with each game last year. Personally, I think he will be a top-10 QB if he stays healthy this year. Once he regains his lower body strength that he lost from the knee injuries, I could see him catching fire. If you're bored, go visit Arizona Cardinal forums from 2-3 years ago about all the things they said about Carson Palmer.

It sounds like this trade is Howie outsmarting himself by trying to get ahead of the curve. It'll be interesting to see if Lurie fires his boy when this move most likely fails.

If I was the owner of a sports team, I wouldn't even have human scouts. I would send a team of Roombas to games to collect data and spilled popcorn.

yeah. bradford can be a good quarterback. no, he isnt brady. he isnt gonna take an awful roster and awful scheme where nothing gels and everyone hates each other and make it great. he isnt top of the crust good.

but he can get it done given competency around him. and not in an alex smith way either. he can win games. i just dont think people realize how rough it was. the line sucked. playcalling had fallen apart. receivers were absolute trash.

Because they are the Eagles.

The "gold standard" of the NFL, despite being in only two Super Bowls and losing both.

Because the Eagles are a poorly-run organization that believes their own hype.

but the eagles pretty much have to rebuild at most positions after the kelly disaster why not start with a solid QB?

my opinion on it is this. i think bradford can be pretty good. they made good improvements on the team through FA. they cut a lot of dead weight in trades. I really think they have some good pieces on defense. point being, i didnt think they were that far off in a pretty open division. and they were going to get a damn good player at a position of need at 8. i think they would have been better off staying the course.

that being said. if they truly believe that there is a guy that they are in love with, and they want to make the move for it, its hard to fault them. but to me, it just doesnt show great planning. why on the heels of signing both bradford AND daniel? and to me, while i do think these 2 qbs arent typical cream of the crop prospects and they are magnified due to being the only girl left in the bar at closting time mentality, i dont fault a team for wanting to move up if they have a guy they know they just HAVE to have.

but how can that be the case here, when they dont even technically know for sure who they are getting? sorry that was long.

When asked after Sunday's game whether he was playing through a left-foot injury that had caused him to miss close to a month late in the season, Jake Voracek said, "No comment."

i think the daniels and bradford signings were insurance incase the eagles weren't able to trade up because it would be worse to be caught without a plan b. now the eagles can have 2 plan Bs wentz if bradford fails and wentz is nothing they can still play bradford. if both fails well then (frank)

More of an issue is he seems afraid to compete for the starting job, he wants to run from the challenge.
