The Caps have to be waking up this morning like the guys from the Hangover. WTF happened last night and it couldn't possibly be as bad as it seems.

One thing that i think helps the flyers with Neuvirth in goal this series is that he freezes the puck as much as he can. Mason trying to play the puck is nice when the skill levels are close on the teams but the freezing of the puck allows the flyers to reset and stops the Caps momentum.

I'm glad the Flyers are alive but if the Caps lose this series this will go down as one of the biggest david vs goliath stories in the playoffs ever.

It's incredible they won being outshot 44-11. Nuevirth is in the zone. The flyers have every opportunity to send this to game 7 if they can find a way to even be mediocre on the pp

On a related note what was up with Justin Williams last night? It seemed like every time he got on the ice he was committing a penalty. If the Flyers had any sort of power play Williams penalties alone would've sunk the Caps.

I just watched the postgame interviews and it hit me that all but G were lit up by cameralights. I do wonder if G might be a bit lightsensitive and having some concussion symptoms.

On the other hand, that should've been pretty obvious to the beats so maybe not.

This is what can happen by just changing up the goalie. Sucks Mason gets the short end of the stick but he got them into the playoffs and now nuevirth is taking his turn carrying the team. This is pretty much best case scenario when making a goalie change after game 3 haha

I don't know how the haters do it -- this is fun. They have taken two games off the best team in the league this year, gotten some young players some valuable experience, are playing Game 6 at home

Obviously I want them to win and win a cup but honestly I didn't care if they went down 4 straight as long as they played hard. this to me was all cream.....to take this to 6 games how and giving me another game to watch is awesome. I think lessons learned for the likes of Ghost, Manning, Cousins, and Laughton (despite missing a lot of the series) is important.

for all the people who say G is getting old for the prospect pool coming along, remember OV is 30, Malkin will be 30 come next season, Thornton 36, Pavelski 31, etc etc. I think its silly to feel as tho Giroux is too old for the next core of prospects. the key is to keep building around G, Simmonds, Jake, Schenn and Coots.
