I think trolling gets a bad rap.
Imo many people need to grow thicker skin. Nothing wrong with some online banter. It's harmless - Just5

Meh. It's not about thicker skin. It's about timing.
I wouldn't want some idiot rubbing in a playoff elimination as it's happening/right after it's happened, ya know? |

So as some sort of therapy, I'm going to tell you guys what happened last night.
I played my very first live performance in front of people on the piano.
My girlfriend danced, and her friend sang.
I (frank)ed up. It was really upsetting and I still feel awful about it. It was the very first time I ever played the piano in front of anyone. There was like 100 people there.
I want to try it again but I also don't.
I'd rather just stick to drumming in front of people. Or playing the viola in a group of 50 other string players.

If the flyers hope to compete with this pens team next year. They don't have a choice but to have jobs open for konecny and provorov. The speed the pace is astounding. Mark streit is a waste of time - Just5

After watching every game for the US at the u18s WJC so far, I'm of the opinion Clayton Keller is one of the best 4-5 players in this draft. I may be a scouting layperson, but he oozes future superstar ability. Not even like this was just a good tournament: everything season reports said matched up. And there's a very good chance he slips to after the top ten. I would do whatever is possible to trade up for a player like Keller.
I don't like comparables, but I can't get out of my head how much he's a lefty Giroux. It's not even a stretch like it was when people did it for Konecny post draft. His 2-way game (not to mention PK work) is so mature, to say nothing of his electric talent. |

Whaaaaa?
He's been one of my favorites for months from what I had read. I've mentioned that plenty. I just finally got to see him in more than 1 US development team game. (Same with Bellows.) Just confirmed EVERYTHING I had read. And then some. He just has "it." In every facet of his game. |

Flyers have many picks. Multiple seconds and multiple thirds. Idk where they'd need to trade up bc I'm not a GM, who can sniff this poop out. I could easily see teams passing on size and then he goes 10-12 or something. At that point? Don't know if a 2nd does it. 2 2nds is not great...they could draft a real nice player. This isn't a good draft, but the 2nd has some gems. I would still do it. I'd trade Laughton honestly with our 1st. I'm not a big fan of his.
Flyers have lots of quantity in their prospects. Lots of depth all around, except at center. They're hurting for one. And I think he's bpa at 5, let alone 11 or something. |

what was that snider quote? ....if you never do anything, you can't gain anything...something like that. you get the idea.
do it again. if you (frank) up, so what. it's just music. nobody's life will be ruined, including yours. be loose and have some fun.

GIG, a wise person once told me that when you perform everyone in that room wants you to do as well as you want to do. Unless there was a critic from the NYT there, relax. And do it again. You'll get more comfortable as you do it. I'll admit that I was always nervous for auditions and rehearsals, but more excited than nervous for performance. But I did have that in my mind, that all those people out there were rooting for me. It helped. I'm so glad you tried. Have at them again!
