You mean "tit for tat" and take your weak sauce back to the Caps thread. Seriously, Tom Wilson is on your team. Jason Chimera. DAF - bodiva88
exactly. meat heads. both of them.
is there even a caps thread? seriously. i'm just asking. |

I'm talking about the very deliberate charge on Richards. Or the deliberate cross check to Kuzy's knee. But hey, apparently those are just playoff hockey plays. - Blackstrom2
Nope, a penalty is a penalty. Of course it doesn't always work out that way, for both teams, right? |

Caps are not a dirty team. Flyers are not a dirty team. This is playoff hockey. The flyers, need to instigate and engage the caps in this series. It's their only chance - Just5
Very happy the Flyers are starting to initiate some of that kind of play themselves.
For a big part of this series early on, they were simply taking it. |

Schenn looks wayyy banged up. Better take it down a notch next game, beat the caps with a goal or 2. |

From after game one:
Tom Wilson saw things differently. “It’s kind of an unwritten rule. You’re down two goals you don’t run a guy with .1 seconds left on the clock.”
Yeah, maybe a game in November a player wouldn't do that. This is the playoffs bud.

They are finally trying to do to the caps what's worked for them the best over the years.
Getting under their skin, exactly what's allowed them to have luck against the Pens.
Brayden is becoming one of my favourite players. What a coming out party for him this season. |

took the words right out of my keyboard
there's definitely something wrong with him
also i can't even put my finger on what was bugging me so much about richards last night but he just seemed bratty and it wasn't a good look for him
and carlson at the end of the game, did his stick hit vandevelde ? - -davies-
Richards is so smug and with him being such a shell of himself, it just annoys me more |

Can cry all they want. They are dirty as (frank) and as someone else pointed out that started in game 1. They still hold the upper hand in this series.
I expect them to bring it all in game 6, in a game 7 situation anything can happen. |

I love that this kid still goes out there looking to really pop guys, knowing he has a target on him. Putting some pucks in the net would be the ultimate.
He's answered the bell physically, including a fight, so it's about time the Caps and their fans get over it already. He's going to be coming for you out there, no matter what. |

It's their coach more than anything. I never knew trotz was such a whiny wiener. Sending tape to the league office, etc - Just5
he was female doging about the Chimera penalty. I mean, are you kidding me? if it was a flyers who threw that check he would have lost his mind. |

the goal challenge call in game 4 is still pissing me off. oh i'm sorry wayne simmonds was in front of the crease. f. u. and get a goddamn neck. - hammarby31
especially considering how many times Williams and Richards have run or bumped Mason/Neurvirth |

Man it is still really pissing you and Team Negative off that they won isn't it..
We know it was a horrible performance, we get it..find another dead horse to beat..
What I know is that tomorrow we can watch another game. - opeth_pa
It's weird. Sometimes you just want the plug pulled. I don't know about you but I'm suffering through these games. They are just getting brutalized. It's like someone close on their deathbed. I just want to end the suffering |

eye for an eye. the caps have been running guys the entire series, starting in game 1 with orpik and it's just escalated from there. and he hasn't been the only one.
but i don't like dirty play, no matter who it's from. the difference here is the caps have been the initiators and are hypocritical crybabies to complain about it. schenn even said he didn't like what he did, that's not his game, and he obliged oshie at the start of last night's game.
but this is fine with me. if the caps are sending tape and crying in post game interviews, it means they're losing their focus. they're the superior team by a country mile and should win this series without all the garbage. if they don't, and they choke, they'll have only themselves to blame. - hammarby31
started even earlier really with chimera butt ending gost in the ribs during the last regular season between them |

I've always been at peace with 2010. At the time I just felt like the Hawks were the better team. Not by a wide margin, but the better team.
The 2000 and 2004 teams are the ones that haunt me. Particularly 2000. Up 3-1 on the Devils. Lights out on Lindros. That was hard on me as a kid I knew lindros was done as a flyer - Just5
I'll never forget that feeling when the hit happened in game 7. It was like time stopped for a good 10 minutes.
and I don't think I'll ever not wonder why they traded Weinrich in 04, because if he's there, Kapanen isn't playing D and they win the cup that year. |

He'd have been sending tape in a gift box with some chocolates, a bottle of something tasty, and maybe some tickets to a play or a wonderful musical. |

No doubt. Schenn isn't holding anything back. Gotta love it. If he keeps his skates on the ice, nothing for the Caps to complain about. |

Flyers have short players. But how the hell do you crosscheck someone in the knee? - bodiva88
Schenn bent over and did it to the side of his knee. I watched it, it wasn't incredibly forceful but was strange and dirty |
