I really don't like Backes but that was a nice tip and I like Hitch...he's a good coach.

So the games started at 8:45pm local time and now it's 11:20pm. I rather pleased not to be invested in the outcome and not to be in the Central time zone.

That tip was fantastic, and Fabbri is really stepping up. They have a deep deep lineup and are fun to watch

I felt like such an old man yesterday complaining about how those 7:30 starts make the SJ/LA games go so late. I am glad I don't mind watching highlights of the ending

It's a work night and I've got 2 kids. The fact that intermissions are 20 minutes and there could be more than one period is tough to keep up with when it's not your home team.

def looking better this year than in last 2 years. Dont think they changed much in lineup or coaching staff that I can recall. Perhaps some growth and experience from their youth.
- SMBDragon

+
Parayko has been huge for them.
Fabbri
Brouwer
Brodziak
Upshall

To name a few.

Not an addition but, Tarasenko is just so damn good. Very dynamic and an incredible release.

I have heard from a few that Hitch has lightened up his approach.

Sometimes the coach has to evolve. You can just keep burying coaches- Look at Ottawa... What now for those guys? 3 coaches in 5 years? Same result more or less?

Out in the west we need big strapping men . We don't need sissy girls like the Nylander sisters. We need hulks.
- VANTEL

I'd be ok with Nlander....he is bigger than his bro and he doesn't look like a female dog

Need a player who can make an impact, not crumble after one.

I hope you're joking and that this is just a sarcastic spin on the old "Sedin Sisters" chirp

I'd take him at 6th to be honest...before a Dman. He has the potential to be a top line scoring winger. Size isn't an issue

Most scouts seemingly compare him to Steen, which isn't a bad thing.
But, if we are drafting in the top 5 i sure as heck hope we aim a little higher than that.

Which one do you use?

I tend to get better results on: http://nhllotterysimulator.com/

as opposed to: http://www.tankathon.com/nhl/mock_draft

which is quite odd.

I didnt think it was that bad, until I checked it out and according to the numbers posted by Mirtle, Vancouver actually has the smallest average team height in the Western Conference, but 23rd in the league

Vancouver also started the season as the lightest team on average in the entire league

The addition of Tree alone probably jumps us up ten or so spots

Addition of Tree and subtraction of Weber will do great for their averages
