The Demko signing isn't enough to stop the bleeding for ticket sales. A 6th place seeding at the draft would be disastrous for the franchise marketing wise. The next couple of weeks will be interesting.

And no, one upset doesnt mean they become favourites. Goaltending is decent, but its not even Osgood/Niemi/Crawford cup winning decent. They could pull another upset in the next round but I cant see them going any further than that. It was always going to be Chicago/St.Louis winner that would be the favourite for the West, with LA and ANA being considerations when this all started
