I don't know.

Still mixed on Sanheim until I see him in AHL. I would be ok moving Laughton in the right deal.

Also depends who is in the top 3.

Just say Edmonton is number 2. Would you offer Simmonds for number 2 and Drasitel? Draft Laine at 2 then.

Not enough?

I think Simmonds would be perfect for Edmonton. Would you add a d prospect like Hagg?

- J35Bacher

Are you crazy!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

You couldn't pry Draisitel out of Edmonton for any single player on our roster let alone get him and the second overall pick.

Simmonds isn't getting you to 2 straight up so keep piling stuff on.

Is it me or has amac looked fantastic in this series? Really he's possibly our best dman this playoffs. I'd prob rather have him around next year as opposed to streit. I'd like to give streit's pp responsibilities to provorov

Of the D Prospects I'm open to moving Sanhiem. But it's gotta be a home run deal. Like Sanhiem and the 1st to get to the top 3 or some sort of similar package for a Taylor Hall type.

I'd prefer to keep Sanhiem but the Flyers can definitely make do with Provorov, Ghost, MDZ and Morin as the future top 4.

Guys, it's still not over yet.

I assure you that it is indeed over except for Wednesdays final score.

If Arizona ends up at 3 and no shot at matthews, I bet they are dealing.

How would you respond to a tracking device that lights up like a Christmas tree everytime our crappy pp hits the ice? Not condoning it but just saying I'm no mother Theresa and I remember what it was like to be 22 with 10 beers in me.

Considering their history, I can see why you would feel that way. As something of a neutral observer (my residual hatred for the Tucker/Domi era Leafs having dissipated a bit by now), I'm watching to see which way they go. Do they throw big money out there on a Lucic? Do they take the chance on Stamkos? Do they continue to add young, cheap pieces who they can keep for several years?

As a Flyer fan, the fewer teams that practice fiscal sanity, they better for my chances of seeing the Cup finally come back to Philly. Its going to be interesting. The cap isnt going to move up much, defensemen are still overpriced, and so are impact UFAs, and we may be looking at expansion after next season.

- Doc_Sarcasm

My edumacated guess is that if he is willing to come here, they will throw whatever is necessary at him to make it happen.

I'm not so sure what they are thinking on Lucic - doesn't seem to me to be a Shanaplan kinda guy, but it's still too early to really have a grasp on what Shanny is thinking.

Luckily we have two and a half months to really ponder these questions...

I'm also a little puzzled by an article I read (I think it was the one linked by your referee) that stated fans should have kept them as souvenirs.

Like, what the hell are you going to do with it?

Yeah I don't see hexy dealing any of the defensive prospects until one shows to be elite at the NHL . Lombardi didn't deal Johnson till it was apparent doughty was on his way to being a stud. I do see him dabbling in free agency

I'm sure they didn't have any "Ed Snider specific" bracelets, but they were handed out at last night's game (as opposed to any other Flyers game ever) for part of an interactive light show mean to honor him, as was my understanding.
- jmatchett383

I guess that's my point. The light show had nothing to do w/honoring Ed. Regardless, it was a classless move by a minority of the fan base which gives a bad rap to all.

Lol. I assure you, an interactive light show has nothing to do with honoring your recently deceased owner. They were handed out specifically at last night's game because they knew it'd be a sold out game and they wanted to see how the bracelets worked in a lively environment.

Regardless, the two occurrences (Snider tribute + bracelet throwing) will forever be tied together.

Maybe but I'm not sure they don't demand Provorov over Sanhiem.

Hell, they'd probably want Konecny over D anyway.

I give a ton of credit to how Alzner has played this series. He is exactly the type of dman that Morin can hopefully grow into with more experience.

I am 90% sure those bracelets are from the Coldplay tour from 2-3 years ago. Remember seeing all the photos of the crowd light show.

Is Cout a 55-60 point 2nd line center or a 35-40 point 3rd line guy?
Is Laughton a 35-40 point 3rd line center or a winger?

Truly believe with better wings he is 55-60 point player.

If Schenn is resigned I think a line of Konecny - Couturier - Schenn could provide good secondary scoring.

In most instances, adding "re" to a word means to do it again (i.e. "rerun", "retool", "rework"). However, the word "liable" describes something that is a hinderance or detriment, and the word "reliable" describes something that you can count on in a time of need. Shouldn't one of them be "unliable" instead?

Your deep thought for the day.
