The Flyers motto is, and has always been, if you can't beat them on the ice, resort to the goon tactics. Last night was no different, can't lose graciously. you were outplayed and you're overmatched. The fans joined the fray which was even more ridiculous. Gee, I wonder why everyone thinks the Flyer fans are the worst. Hey Ek, still got "Flyers in 7"
- mattstake

I wish we were classy like Detroit and Tampa has been this year. Haven't there been scrums at the end of each game so far.

While this guy's just being an bumhole, their fans have shown 10,000% more class than what happened last night. Do you think Detroit fans (a small minority) would do the same if they have a Gordie Howe tribute night?

But you're right, both teams have become nothing but goons at the end of every game.

Again, what do you do to the guy who wasn't there last night and bought the Game 4 ticket for $250?
- jmatchett383

I have season tickets and didn't/couldn't go.

If I lost my seats over that, I'd be pissed.

It was more toward the gooning it up thing and losing classy.

As for the fans I agree.

Sucks for those guys who've had tix for 25+ years and weren't able to make the game.

not a good night for the franchise....of all nights...the night to honor Mr. Snider.

Sad.

In three games you have 1 pt from Giroux, Simmonds, and Voracek. That's a pretty big red flag.

You could rebuild the defense with those three...trade em all for young defenseman and by the time the high draft pick forwards are ready to rock, the young D will be too. Keep in mind, Edmonton is looking for the same thing you are..you have to make offers comparable to RNH, Eberle, Hall and whoever else they may move (I think Draisitl and McDavid are locked in)

Its time to gut it guys.

Program the ticket scanners at entry points for game 4 and don't allow them in. Have Lou Nolan announce that each empty seat represents a 'tosser' (British slang optional).

That would be great!

I think I read that each bracelet was keyed to a specific seat. I recommend identifying all the bracelets collected from the ice and revoking the season tickets for those folks.
- Scoob

They may not have been keyed to a seat but a section is definitely what they were keyed to.

Ever been a season ticket holder? You're responsible for whatever happens from your seat, by you or whoever you give/sell the ticket to. They represent you, for better or worse.

If you think its up to 3 guys to win a cup, then I have no way of speaking to you.

The Flyers issue is NOT Giroux, Simmonds, or Voracek.

The Flyers issue is NOT Steve Mason.

The Flyers issue is that they are playing with a patchwork group of d-men, and have 5-6 fourth liners currently on the team.

Bellemare, White, Vandevelde, Read, Laughton & Cousins (learning curve).

We lack secondary skill. That will be corrected very soon.

- jak521

Don't you love it when Sabers fan lecture you how to win the cup?
Amazing what a bad stretch brings in.

Well that didn't go as I would have hoped considering ill be driving in for Game 4 tomorrow... Guess they wont be handing out any free souvenirs now
I was at the Buffalo game in 2006 when they got destroyed, but last night sitting on my couch I was more embarrassed to be a fan on the same side as those who disrespected Mr. Snider like that. Any other game of the year wouldn't have been half as big of a deal. We are LUCKY this team even made it to playoffs in general so how can we get mad they aren't holding up against the Presidents trophy winner? I will be going to cheer my team tomorrow either way

- Trainfellow

I would have to disagree. As much as some of you say that it's better that the young players and coach take this as a learning experience, I think you put too much emphasis on that. I would have been perfectly fine missing the playoffs going out on a high note with how they played down the stretch than go thru this embarrassment. Then again, hindsight is 20/20.

That would be like taking away someone's license if they loan their friend a car and the friend gets a DUI driving the car.

They had absolutely nothing to do with the wristband throwing. Would suck if a guy couldn't go because he was in the hospital, gets released, and has a letter in the mail informing him that his season tickets have been revoked.

While I like the intent, what do you do about the STHs who sold their tickets on Stubhub/Craigslist/co-worker/etc?
- jmatchett383

They know which were sold on Stubhub, my rep explained that to me when I questioned such a thing as I changed from 10 games to a full plan next year.

So the Flyers are going to refund him? He bought a ticket that the team said admitted him to the game, only to say it was no longer valid. That's a class-action lawsuit in the making, and I don't think they want another one after the Winter Classic.

Bending over your season ticket holders in a gate driven league is probably not a great business policy.

yah...Ovie, Sid, Tarasenko, and Kane really look spent
- Ripped Fuel

Dude, Giroux was playing playoff stile of hockey since february. He does not have a supporting cast that Ovie, Sid, and Tarasenko afford.
Just stop it.

Well if I loan my car to a friend and they crash into someone it's my insurance that pays the price. The driver insurance is secondary.
