Albany has been good all year and recently beefed up with a few college free agents. We also have Zacha there after being called up for one nhl game, in addition to sending boucher, blandisi, severson, and sislo down. Expecting a long run for albany. Best of luck hoping no injuries on either side.

This is were we don't agree. It reminds me of when I was saying Higgins is no good and you were saying he is very serviceable. You like to over analyze .

Did this ragtag bunch over achieve yes they did, you win. Are anyof them NHLers ,no they are not.

Prust played about a week in Utica before being shutdown because of an injury and is now back in Ontario rehabbing.

I don't know much about him but if you look at his roster and he made the playoffs . That alone is outstanding.

He plays the matchup game well, and seems to have the team playing above their actual level by deploying a simplified gameplan (not unlike LA's) of dump and chase/sound neutral zone d. He also seems to have a knack for finding the guys in a given game that are going to produce. On top of that the special teams are very effective. I thinkhe would be a great replacement or hire as an assistant, not sure if we'll be able to keep him though.

Three years ago he jumped in as interim coach of the Winterhawks and went 37-8-0-2 to end the season - then two years later he took the Comets to the finals and this year finished 12 games over 500 considering he lost about 150 games to injury/call ups (not necessary players in the Canucks lineup) to his core (Gaunce, Grenier, Zalewski, FEdun, Pedan) - thats pretty impressive...

I don't know much about him but if you look at his roster and he made the playoffs . That alone is outstanding.
