Not sure of the relative ages in that but my oldest (actually step daughter but is mine - known her since she was 7), now 25 lives in Melbourne. Says it's more 'cosmopolitan' than Sydney & her being French likes it a lot more. Ah kids, those that don't have them just don't know!! - Aussiepenguin
She is 26 and is about to be a Psychologist specialising in Autistic children.
Melbourne is a long way away. Glad mine stayed in North America.. |

Mines 26 this year coincidence. 1 hour in a plane gets us down there. Now if she wants to go back to Europe.........thankfully not! It's funny, one of her uni degrees is English teaching.
Your daughter sounds like a smart individual, if she can help any of the parents or children that have autism in their lives she's doing a great job. |

Drawing instances from one of Djan'a latest pieces it seems like Olli is really confident his service with the Finnish armed forces won't interfere with his offseason work out. He seemed to imply that the Finnish armed forces are used to NHL players and make accommodations for them. This raises my confidence in Olli's ability to bounce back a ton.
Now, something that we've only really whispered about lately, Dumoulin hasn't been the reliable top 4 guy lately that he's been this season. I hope that the blue line turns it around soon but I'm seeing them falling apart. Dumoulin and Daley have to be better. Maatta needs to sit. - Victoro311
I'm glad someone brought that up. A lot of talk about Maatta but no one is talking about Dumoulin not playing near the level he was before. I wouldn't call him a liability but it certainly seems the last hit into the glass is having an effect.. |

Wow. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one without a ban to his name, but I don't post on other boards either. |

How in the world is that a bannable offense? It's just kind of true...
The bane of Hank's existence part. Not the dead mother part... |

Well that explains why your alt was running around. Seriously, how have you gotten away with that alt? You capitalized the words "Ranger" and "Danger". You're not even trying to hide it... |

That is interesting so I looked up TOI for first 2 playoff games amongst dmen and regular season TOI in parantheses:
Letang 29:01 (26:57)
Daley 23:06 (20:27)
Dumoulin 16:44 (18:53)
Maatta 15:43 (19:58)
Lovejoy 14:45 (18:52)
Cole 14:07 (17:14)
Schultz 5:52 (14:14)
Obviously a very small sample, but Sully def limiting basically everybody but Letang and Daley. Would like to see that even out a little

I still think that's too much time for Maatta coming off an injury and based on playoff performance thus far. |

Interesting. If Dumo and Maatta are playing at a bottom pairing level, we basically have 5 bottom pairing defenseman so its hard to figure out minutes.
Just tried coming up with my ideal D pairings and I didnt like any of them. |

No Fleury at morning skate. It is an optional. Sully pulling another fake and have Fleury sit out morning skate and start him tonite? He likes to mind(frank). Just trying to be optimistic, don't really know what to think. |

So today the pairings are going to in all likelihood be:
Daley-Letang
Dumoulin-Lovejoy
Cole-Schultz
If the top two pairings struggle again and Cole Schultz have a strong game I'd do something like this even if it seems radical:
Dumoulin-Letang
Cole-Schultz
Pouliot-Daley
In this configuration I'd give Daley-Letang a few shifts as well. This keeps Dumo's minutes down a bit, shelters Pouliot, and ups Daley's minutes a bit. What this configuration does is that it injects another defenseman than augments our speed in Pouliot and has everyone playing their preferred sides. |

Fleury didn't sound to good in his interview yesterday. I think we see Murray before fleury. So let's say Murray comes back and we have an incredible run is that it for fleury here? |

Djan said in his Tuesday's takes that if MAF is ready to play hockey, then he's doing a great job of hiding it. But Djan is a pretty hard line sit fleury until he's 510% guy so take that for what it's worth. |
