Philly fans get dumped on by lazy commentators all the time and garbage from other cities gets a pass but throwing stuff on the ice tonight was just low class and uncalled for. There is no way to defend that trash especially on a night where Ed Snider gets honored.

Al Morganti makes a good point...on a night like this, all you can ask is the team is hard to beat. They weren't tonight. Fans were right to be upset, even if they expressed it in a bad way.
