We have 7 natural centers on our starting roster who were trained their entire career to be the first forwards back and act as a safety when our d pinch to keep the puck in and yet if you watch closely our d never hold the line and it results in no sustained offensive end play and we are the easiest team in the league to break out against. Allow more d pinching and it will lead to more success

I honestly think changing goalies at this point would be an awful idea. In fact, I think it would be the official white flag moment.

Every elite goalie gives up a bad goal. The only reason the Flyers are playing the Caps in the first round, is because of Mason. It would be a slap in his face to switch to Neuvirth. He hasn't played poorly at all.

I understand the need to change momentum etc. However, at this point a change now would come off as gimmicky.

Caps have outscored the Flyers 2-1 at ES (not including the Mason gaffe). Both goals came at the end of regulation when the team was trying to force things and allowed an odd man rush the other way.

Other than the 100 foot goal, the Caps haven't scored an ES goal in the first 55 minutes of each game.

Exactly what teams are doing to Giroux and Gostisbehere.

I would almost look to put Streit at the top of the umbrella and place Gositsbehere in Voracek's spot. See if you can open up the PK box and maybe Streit can get some shots through or open space for Gostisbehere

Would rather have a Colin McDonald in over Read as at least he can bring some physical play to match the caps.
