Of course, gourmet hotdogs are critical to the success of the team. Well-nourished fans are loud and supportive and will give the players a boost!!!
They should have a newsletter and ask for consultation before making any decisions, that way we know what they are thinking and we have the confidence they are making the best decisions from our expertise! - WhiteLie
Agreed...time to take over and turn this ship around, I think you should contact FA and ask him to implement this ^^^immediately, correction, you demand that this be implemented immediately....this is the only way to a guaranteed Stanley Cup...BTW good luck |

My speculation. No sky falling because today none of these players are impact players.
Burrows: Regardless of who we draft will not be back. 4.5 cap space for fourth liner is too much.
The Draft: We will take a forward even at #6. Hearing more and more of that. It does make sense , seeing no Dman is a true impact player.
Hamhuis. He does not fit the movement of change for Canucks. No contract talks to date. Benning has already made two moves ( three if you include Tryamkin) for next year , none of them to do with Hamhuis.
Demko: Benning goes to the Frozen Four to see his two top prospects, and hopefully sign Demko to solidify things. Does not talk to Demko the whole time down there and two days later is in the running for a out of nowhere attempt to sign the runner up goalie. My gut feeling Demko will be dealt at the draft, luckily we have Markstrom. |

Hey all I'm gonna be in the lower mainland (Langley/Surrey and Port Co.) for a few weeks starting this weekend...any recommendations for excellent Pubs or restaurants around there? I usually have a few on the radar but always looking for new places... |

I think all of his trades had a purpose. When he first got here there were very few players 27 and under. He has changed that and when not injured we can ice a decent team.
Unlike what Makita just said I think WD is actually a HB regular and knows as much about coaching as we do. Free Willy - VANTEL
It really wasn't about his trading as a whole through the season, just what we did and didn't like now that the season is over. that's all. lol. If WD was a HB regular, he should take your advice more then. |

Worst trade for me, the Kassian+5th for Prust. I had (small) hope that the end result would be flipping Prust for a 3 or 4th round pick and it never materialized because Prust is awful. I just was hoping some team would be delusional enough to add "toughness" for the playoffs.
Best, I like the Etem trade. Buy low on a former 1st rounder with speed who could maybe put it all together, worst case he is a young and fast bottom 6 NHL forward you hope can chip in 10 goals a year - WhiteLie
Anything for a drunk coke head cancer that no one wants to give up assets for is a success.
Etem will be a good bottom 6 I think. Jensen is pretty much a bust at this point. Hard to lose this trade. |

Etem could be a favourite. If he can remember going to the net hard brought results , then it could be a big win. |

At 6, I'd have to disagree and take the Best D. This team needs help on the back end more then anything I still believe. Unless they are picking top 3 and getting a forward. Trading down and picking up 2 first round picks would be my favourite scenario. |

How do we know what the back end looks like.
I have never seen Larsen. Stecher a mystery . Trade UFA? Tryamkin? |

you can disagree, but I'm with Vantel on this .... JB will take a forward, unless he trades down ... this team needs help on the front and back end and it looks like a stronger forward draft group than d .... |

We don't know. Didn't know what it looked like last season, that was a disaster. Most of them as of right now are signed and coming back. Even Hutton had a great first season and they still sucked. Haha. |

It's hard to pass up on a forward when you're picking in that range. I'm just saying, looking at the teams that have chosen a D in the top 10 over the years compared to teams that haven't. A lot seem to be closer to the bottom of the league then the top. just my opinion. |

From the three games I seen Stecher played, he reminded me of Krug and a bit like Hutton with a better shot. It is a decent free pick up.
This summer we have a chance to build a better back end , just don't bring back old expired contracts. |

They really do need a player with some offensive upside. not only not bring some old contracts but get rid of some of them too. What year do they pick up a top tier defence product though? Could have for years and haven't. |

Yeah I don't like that Sbisa contract .
Stechers downside is he gets bumped around and pushed off the puck, but he doesn't back down or hide. |

Yeah Sbisa
Stecher, that's something that can be still learned to use your body better. Not all D have to be physical, just play smart. Probably could use a D with some smarts. Could use him more as a 3rd pairing and a PP specialist till he learns more. Edler staying healthy is huge for the D. Not everyones favourite player but can still play. |

I am not an Edler fan, but do realize at this time he is the best. I hope in the next 3 years we can change that. |

Kassian HAD to go. You are using hindsight my friend...Benning didn't know Prust would get injured and become terrible...normally he would be worth a 3rd |
