I hope if he does do any buyouts, it`s because he`s making a big trade or OS for a piece we need for the future. Trouba would be nice. Tanev and McCann for Trouba (e5)

I would prefer that they bring in a few UFA's than continue the experiment with Vey, Granlund, Grenier etc. and let JV and JM start the season in the AHL until they earn a call up.

There is a chance we end up with an NHL ready forward out of the draft.

Etem and Zalewski earned more time IMO.

He needs to save face by re-signing Granlund. Too many of the Canucks fanbase feelings were hurt when he traded a former Gillis 1st round pick for Granlund. People would lose their minds and you know it!

I don't think he cares as much about this as fans assume. He's shown he will move on from unsuccessful projects quickly. I don't see it changing.
