it was unrealistic to thing the Flyers were going to beat Washington. I mean the second line right now is 12-10-89 and the defense is what it is. the flyers have a lot of holes to fill. I'm happy that kids like 53, 52, 21 and even 23 are getting playoff experience. In my opinion the Flyers are too small and slow and need to upgrade. that said, I am happy with the direction of the Flyers |

I am not particularly upset at the goal, or the fact they are likely out in 4-5 games. But what is so damning for the futur prospects of this team is the absolute goal scoring impotence. This team needs at least 2 more very good players in the top 6. This has been my pet peeve for the past 3 years. The top line is really a 2nd line on playoff teams, if that.
