Well I hope this day is done, everyone feeling superior over ganging up on a poster, regardless of the post, or the interpretation of the post. This evening has been very high schoolish, well done everyone.

I'm not surprised by the responses, by I am disappointed, (frank) me you guys would eat your own offspring if it came down to it.

Codes, I applaud your diplomacy, and a few others that refused to jump into the gang mentality...(neem, thunda, whitelie)

I like to call out outrageous posts as much as the next guy, but today was a blatant gang bang, again regardless of the post. There's other ways to articulate other than belittling a person.

Done, goodnight...I hope

This Demko situation has me feeling nervous. Benning has threw enough assets out the window, can't afford to lose this guy.
This Puljajari(SP). Seems like a pretty risky high pick. Most of what I read about him really pushes what he could be rather then what he is. With the exception of WJHC haven't seen him play.
Can't blame Boeser for returning to school.

Cbc did a special and compared them to NHL players.
Matthews - Kopitar
Laine - Nash
Puljarvi - I don't remember
Tkachuk - Perry
I can't remember who they had as the fifth player. Anybody fill in the I don't knows

- manvanfan

Im pretty sure Hockeybuzz is more knowledgeable then Cbc.
But who would you rather have, Rick(only when I feel like it) Nash or Corey Perry? I love Tkachuk. I like the comparable to Perry but Tkachuk is tougher and a better skater.
Im still sticking with

Mathews
Tkachuk
Chycerun

As my top 3.

I'd say Vantel handled it pretty tactfully as well.

Well i guess Demkos dad didnt have an announcement yesterday, on a side note the refs were digging deep disallowing that Tarasenko goal

(frank)ing bettman. They and baseball have the video review thing all wrong. It's there to take away the blatantly obvious wrong call. If you look at it once and it isn't obvious the wrong call was made, then you stick with the call.

Exactly. It's a judgement call. If you look at it for ten minutes it's still a judgement call.

Gary wants his precious Blackcocks in the final…STL was jobbed on that goal.

On the reverse camera angle it was definitive that it wasn't off-side - you could see his skate shadow clearly over the blue line - that was brutal and it cost the Blues the game - holy F(awk) I hate the Hawks and the challenge (its truly ruining the speed and spontaneity of the game)

Well when Toews and Kane lead jersey sales this year it makes sense for Garys decision

It will be interesting to see if or how the viewership fairs in light of zero Canadian markets making the show.

I know many people here are watching the playoffs, but here out-east there seems to be zero sh!ts given. Oddly enough, many would tend to hop on the Bruins Bandwagon come playoff time and even they failed to make an entrance.

If DET gets bounced in the first round that should hurt as well.

Quite curious indeed.

Yeah if my memory service me correct Bob Mackenzie was there, my opinion he knows hockey the best out of anyone. He's usually pretty close on his mock drafts too.
if anyone hasn't seen these. just watch the video, i wouldn't bother reading.

After watching these, I would take any of these players. Matthews or Puljujarvi would help Van more I think.

"Pro-rating the 2012-13 lockout year, the Canucks averaged 46 wins and 101 points in the nine seasons before this one. They made the playoffs seven times and past the first round four times.

Nobody has seen anything like this Canucks team since the 1990s, and it scares people"

thus the freak out crowd not remembering what it's like to have a poor team....its been a long time since the Canucks were bad.

My memory isn't that short. It will get better. I don't see us as a bottom of the barrel in the league next season. We will be more competitive and have more shots.

it was in fact blatantly offside with his back skate off the ice, this is not football the line doesn't go up for eternity ,the player has to have a skate down touching the ice.

i did want the Blues to win also , but the no goalie interference on Shaw after the gong show calls against Canuck goalies this past year was mind boggling
