They are sending an entire line from Michigan Wolverines over too. The World Cup I think is scaring guys off from this tournament, but good on Demko for getting a chance to see NHL level shots

I am curious why people keep mentioning trading down from 1st and adding Strome. For arguments sake, if AZ is in top 5 no way do they swap picks and throw him in, but say they are in the 7-10 range, why does Van bother doing it? If Matthews was born a few days earlier he would have gone ahead of Strome in last years draft. For a team that has really lacked an individual star since Bure, why not take, keep and build around the best player in the draft?

Absolutely. No harm in listening but it would really have to be an amazing deal. Even then I personally wouldn't pass on Matthews in any way considering how badly we need a new 1st line center soon.

My guess is they start him in Utica unless he has a HUtton-like training camp. Another prospect in the pipe is definitely a good start to the off-season for JB though. I'm hoping he drafts 2-3 more d-men.
