His parents to some extent, yes they were an issue. But as a parent, you want to protect your child. That never ends, regardless of their age. I didn't really see Big E as part of the issue. He played through a lot of poop that guys playing today would be sitting out for months. - aantny88
but constantly calling the GM to female dog about everything including who Eric was playing with is a bit much. I blame the parents a lot and I blame the Flyers for not putting their foot down from the get go |

I might excuse a Leach confusion but I doubt many youngsters here know much of him. - Scoob

That butt end spear from Chimera on Ghost was a disgrace. Very sneaky with an intent to injure. - PLindbergh31
Better get used to it kid. That was an appetizer to playoff hockey. No issue with it |

not that I'm not excited for the playoffs but the way i feel is that this team was not supposed to even be in the playoffs and i don't have expectations of them doing much or going very far..so i don't feel as intense like i may have felt in 2010 when i thought we could actually win the cup. I feel a more mellow excitement, anyone else feel that way?
Kind of like a "just happy to be here" feeling. |

Thanks Bill. Holtby should be great as usual, so we need to get some bodies to the net to make things as difficult as possible; ie. forwards other than White, or Simmer.
In addition, we have to watch out for Chimera, and Wilson, and when they are on the ice. I am surprised that the league didn't review that butt end of the stick that Ghost received the last time that we played the Caps. Oh well, if you don't have Cindy, or Kane on your jersey some things will be overlooked.
I would also consider bring up CMcD to add some grit to counter those two Caps, but I would have trouble figuring out which player to remove; team chemistry.
It will be interesting to see how the Flyers will play in the first 10 minutes of the game, and if they will let the Caps dictate how the series will go. I don't think that the Caps will sweep the series, but I just want to see a high level of compete from the Flyers. It would also be cool to see G sit Ovie on his butt at least once in the series; still love Cindy sitting on the ice that one playoff game...lol. - OrangeAndBlack1
they did address the butt end and they fined him.

I think Manning has done a much better job of late. I personally would prefer Medvedev, but it really hasnt been hurting has too badly |

It helps that he's playing with by far the best possession dman on the team in Gudas, but Manning's lack of a NHL caliber offensive game means that pairing doesn't translate their shots into many points.
They're going to be all over Ghost. I'm worried about who is going to step up on D. - hereticpride
I wonder if Hakstol would have the gumption to switch up the D pairings and put Ghost with Gudas. |

I think Manning plays a tougher game too. More physical and isn't shy to get in opponents face after whistles |

37? - YuenglingJagr
Thought about him a lot, and I really loved his game, but I never liked him enough to buy a jersey of his, so I didn't include him.
I almost forgot 17. Both for Brindy and Simmer. Lots of magic in that number. |

I think it's a little premature to have B Schenn in your top 10.
Seriously, it's a fine list. I put 44 above almost all of them and and underrated 26 too. - Richard_wilderness
Lots of love for Timonen and also Kapanen. |

Yeah but if they get abuse and swept, I'll be pretty sad. I need to see them at least competing and if they lose, oh well. I just can't deal with a up 3 goals per game beat down. I also really want Ghost to go off this series. |

yeah I'm basically just saying, i feel like its harder for me to get so amped for flyers playoffs this year more than years past and I feel guilty about it. |
