Refs suck, but this was a level I haven't seen in a while, and definitely not this loopy in the playoffs.

It's one freaking game.

Yeah, the Caps are a damn good team, and will likely win this series ... but to say it's gonna be a cakewalk and get out the brooms?

This might be a year where I pull the trigger on moving up. They clearly need another big bodied forward that can a) drive the net with the puck and get a legit chance on net and b) has a shoot-first mentality.

Konecny will be a nice add too for sure.

I just don't see this Flyers team losing 4 straight. Mind you, I'm not saying they'll win the series, only that I believe they have a win or two in them.

Some calls tonite were very creative but it's nothing you wouldn't expect. That said, if the Flyers could've taken the opportunity given to them earlier to net a couple on the PP, the game would've taken on a vastly different complexion.

I likes their spirit but I would've liked a little more offense. Schenn was a missile tonite.

The way I see it, the 2nd PP unit is more dangerous and perhaps should get the start of a penalty or 2 in game 2. Of course that unit is now going to be different with Couts' injury, so who knows how they perform. But the 1st just isn't getting it done, is too predictable and/or has very little confidence on the perimeter with Jake, Ghost and G.

Only 1 game. Flyers were competing and battling for a bit. Obviously need more offense and sustained attacks. Would like to see more hitting. Losing Couturier is rough. Streit and Voracek, to me, were the worst skaters tonight. Voracek needs to get bumped down to the 3rd unit. Would love Medvedev in and Streit out but that'll never happen. Streit is a step up from a traffic cone and his offense/decision making has not been even mediocre. Might want to consider bringing Morin up to handle some of those Capitals forwards that were able to keep the Flyers hemmed in their own zone since Couturier went down.
