And two of their best pitching prospects, Thompson and Kilome, aren't even in the bigs yet. Even former #1 overall Mark Appel, who they got with Velasquez for Giles, could be a solid 3/4 perhaps. Then add in Jason Groome, the LHP out of high school that they will probably draft #1.
Then cobble together a lineup including Franco, Crawford, Herrera, Alfaro, Williams, Randolph, Knapp, Quinn, Provorov. The future looks gooooooood. - Mononoke

Barkann was comparing Holtby to Mason saying his stats are "disparate"...then pointing to win-loss record. Hmmm maybe...and I'm going out on a limb here!...their record difference could be because one goalie plays for the President's Trophy winner and the only for the second wild card? Maybe that has a tad to do with it.

i know i bust balls about the average xfinity knucklehead douche, but philly really has loads of passionate, knowledgeable fans. this is basically their primetime role/timeslot on the biggest city sport network.
and he has 0 redeemable qualities. i just can't believe they can't find someone better.

He's an asshat. It really is that simple. After the Phillies ( ) they had Barkann and Marcus Hayes and John Boruk talking about the Flyers. I wanted to blow my head off. I reconsidered and just changed the channel.
