If you watch the vid on youtube, there's Hexy watching closely and just itching to join the donnybrook. Man I loved those teams with Hexy, Lindros, LeClair Desjardins, etc... wish they could have taken the cup in 97.

Here's another thing to consider: Med has a ton of Russian PO and WC experience over the years... Manning hasn't played a PO game since 2011... in the Dub.

In my personal opinion, I don't believe there is that wide a gap between Medvedev and Manning but they both bring something different. The problem I have is that Medvedev is a veteran of the game and hasn't been allowed to prove he's able to clean up any shortcomings he might have. Even after 4-0 loss against Edmonton or a 3-0 loss in Detroit, where we saw a weak opponent in Toronto the next day, Hakstol is still unwilling to make the switch. Manning is a physical player and I don't want to under rate how important this is but he's not Radko Gudas or Luke Schenn physical, which helps boosts both player's game. The offense from the blueline seems to live and die with Ghosts most nights. I'm not in absolute fear of playing Medvedev at all as our 6th defenseman.

I think he gets in when there is a class with few easy ballot votes. Last year was a stacked class.

88 isn't even in our rafters when it damn well should be. While not a requirement that's not doing him any favors with the HHOF.
