After all your nonsense about signing vets for large sums of salary and the team not going into full rebuild you are good with paying 4.5 mil to a biting, hair pulling diver who taunts people about being abused by their parents and racial slurs to mentor our kids. Why would I expect anything else from you?

i'm glad to have not supported the tank nation and actively cheered against my team, yet still the team has a decent shot at a top 5 pick in particular the top 3 (roughly ~33% chance)

Home brewing sucks. I have yet to taste anything good that's been home brewed. A few buddies still do it. Been doing it for a long time. And their product still sucks after years of doing it.

Leave brewing to the masters.

Totally agree. Got so many friends and family here that are trying to create decent wine and beer at home...it's not working. Leave it up to the people that know what they are doing.

So after listening to the year-end postmortem from the three stooges I'm feeling a bit better about WD, still remain solidly in the corner that Jim Benning (outside of drafting) is a complete moron.....Trevor Linden has a LRP that I'm on board with however.

My take:

Benning has a plan that ownership has been interfering with (to some capacity) since he started.
Linden has very little knowledge of being a president and is basically the puppet to the public in regards to what both ownership and Benning want the fanbase to know.
WD is a good coach, with bad players, and is being told to use certain players not only to test their abilities, but to give the fans a taste of youth, regardless of the outcome.

I have 500 liters of single press cider in the shop that says your wrong, although making booze from the source is different then from a box

Lol I'm not one of those people who is gonna tell you "but you'll like mine" it's still a step above Jackson triggs and copper moon. My wife started it as a hobby and only does it when she can get the special reserve deals.

Good signing's by the Leafs, your Rielly contract offer-sheet is dead Vantel....sorry! The Leafs IMO are selling the biggest smoke-show in the league and everyone and their dog is eating it up like a kid on candy because they said were going to break it completely down.

So they say we're going to suck and it's ok? We're going to do what the Oilers did and it's ok? WTF?

I like that Linden said the Canucks ARE NOT going to have a complete selloff by getting rid of all veteran players!

The Leafs are gonna be bad for the next six to eight years going strictly with youth.

Regardless of Lindens lack of knowledge, Bennings handcuffs, WD's lack of pieces to be successful. I still love this team and think we are much better set for the future with Benning at the helm. I look at our team and prospects when Gillis left, and now I look at what Benning has done, and I am VERY impressed. Each draft, he proves he can bring in talent. I for one am confident Benning can pull this around. My one critique would be his ability to sign players to better term/$ in regards to Dorsett/Sbisa. Sutter's term is not as bad as his $ (IMO).

I didn't see or hear any of what you just wrote, funny how people can listen to the same message and have completely different takeaways.

My take was less in regards to the year end media availabilities, but more from the course of the year, TDL, the deployment of youth this year, the questionable position deployment by Willy, etc.

He's excellent at collecting youth thru draft, thus far, I'll give him that! His articulation leaves much to be desired.
