Lousy not seeing Lee and seeing Bailey in the lineup. |

I agree. I like Frans with JT and KO. I hate Bailey on the 2nd line with Nelson. Maybe Prince should be there? |

They've been really good; I don't think I'd break it up either. But I gotta say the second and third lines look pretty weak this way, too. |

The defense looks really good if Hamonic plays, but the 2nd and 3rd lines are a problem and especially without Lee. |

What's the story with Trocheck? - potvin05
▪ Gudbranson, spotted wearing a walking boot Saturday after missing Florida’s final two games of the regular season, was back on the ice Monday and Tallon said “it looks like Erik will be ready to go.”
Steven Kampfer (ankle) and Vincent Trocheck (foot) remained out and there was no update on their status. Rookie Mike Matheson remains up on emergency recall.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but how does Bailey justify playing in game one?
I don't give a crap if it's Quine, Bernier or our resident weatherman, Boulton. Crappy has clearly been on his case, publicly now, and he still hasn't responded. He should be the odd man out...clearly. |

I agree Potvin. You need to back up calling out a player when he still does not respond. |

I hate to see guys hurt, but like you said...that Vincent Trocheck...so hot right now.
Honestly, I had no idea Gudbrandson was dinged up. I guess that helps too. |

I can't wait until he carelessy whips a puck up the center of the ice from behind his own net or takes a lazy stick penalty because he's too much of a wussy to check someone. |

Pretty sure Gudbranson took a few blows to the head this year too. I think he missed time twice (don't hold me to that) for concussion symptoms. |

I think Lee is a much bigger injury than people are stating. He's been our only threat in front of the net on the power play and he was playing his best hockey of the season when he got hurt. Sure, losing JT, Boychuk, Leddy, etc would be worse, but Lee is a unique guy on this team, just sucks. |

I agree it's a bad injury with the size Lee brings. You also have to think Lee would want to make up for what happened and him being benched during last years playoffs. |

Hard to see where goals are coming from on any line but the first. Nelson can put some in if he rides a hot streak, but he's with Kulemin, who's more of a defensive specialist, and Bailey, who's more of a ... um ... waste of a roster spot, so there's not much for Nelson to work with offensively. You can move Strome with him, but then there's no one to center the third line, which currently features mostly the types of players we swore there was no more room for when we thought we were really deep at forward. Be nice to have Grabo and Lee in there. I might even settle for Grabner! |

Lot of pressure on the 1st line and the 4th line to do their thing. The defense and goalies really have to be sharp as well to make up for any lack of offense from the 2nd and 3rd lines. |

Fourth line is going to be absolutely paramount in any success we have/don't have. Aside from doing what the do best, they need to contribute some timely offense.
Bottom 6 in general needs to create havoc, physically or otherwise. |

Capuano confirms Halak is officially out this series. But sounds like Hamonic will try to play Game 1.
Peter Botte @PeterBotte 10m10 minutes ago
Halak is skating and taking shots, Capuano said, so maybe an outside shot if series goes distance. But sounds doubtful.

Tavares on Jagr: "I don't know what he's drinking every day, but I would love to have what he's got." Called him amazing. |

We will need offense from the 4th line as well. 2nd and 3rd lines have to at least play smart if they do not add a lot of offense. |
