Social media is the down fall of western civilization. It's eroding the bedrock foundation of hundreds and even thousands of years of the humanization of man kind. We now live in a society of TMI! And a society of rude, unengaged zombies with faces promptly buried in their phones and iPads. The dumbing down of America and just the beginning of a real life "Idiocracy"!

Yes you're right. But it's not the same thing as Face book or Twitter or snap chat or even just plain texting.

This is sports news blog geared to NHL hockey fans. My interest is about chatting with like minded fans about my favorite sport. Not dedicating my every spare minute to burying my face in a phone or tablet or laptop.

I don't own a FB account, or a Twitter account, or a Snap chat account. I've never used any of them. I have an old school analogue cell phone and use email, that and HB are pretty much the extent of my electronic communicating.

My post was in reference to the "NOW" generation... Anyone 30 and under (and some older of course) that just can't seem to function without constantly having noses buried in some sort of social media mechanism.
