This team has been so much better since putting Tavares, Nielsen and Okposo together. Instead of three 3rd lines that can't score, this team actually now has a legit 1st line good for at least a goal per game (while the middle two lines are not appreciably worse than they were). I'm not sure why something like this wasn't done about a month earlier, but obviously Jack's a little slow on the uptake.

Frans gives that first line a much needed defensive presences and someone to get the puck to JT. Still would have liked Strome centering a kid line before Lee got hurt and you keep the 4th line intact and have Bailey and Kuli with Prince if you need to play Bailey at all. Have to wonder if Cappy calls out those guys at all if the new owners were not taking over.

Far from a tank. Sitting players against a dirty flyers team in a meaningless last game of the season is an intelligent thing for an already injury ridden team to do. You played the Bridgeport sound tigers last night because half our team is injured not bevause we're tanking. Pittsburgh did the same thing yesterday. Also, we lose tonight I'm not so confident were in the conference finals.
