As for "whining", you seemed to have missed where I wrote that Flyers would only have themselves to blame if the miss. But the Rangers sending out far less than their best available lineup while they still have a shot at finishing higher in the standings says a lot about their character, IMO.

It has nothing to do with character...players are banged up and injured and since we clinched, those players will rest. It's extremely common for teams to do this in the final few games of the season.

Call me whatever you will but this blog was extremely disappointing to read from Bill today. I am actually one of the Rangers fans that enjoys this group and comes here to only discuss the game; even pumps the Flyers up when warranted. But this notion that the Rangers are tanking is hysterical.

McDonagh and Girardi sat out because they are hurt.

Rangers badly outshot the Islanders and Greiss stood on his head for the majority of the game. Hank was not that sharp, but he has not been, down the stretch so there was nothing out of the ordinary in that regard Thursday.
