Toews looks like he is out of gas. For years he's been the hardest working hawk on the ice most nights. Lately, he looks like a shell. Not saying he doesn't try. Alot less dogged in his pursuit of the puck, and not dangerous.

Panarin was backchecking a few times.

The Hawks could have easily been up 3-0 after the 1st. Instead they had to chase this game until the end. You play like this in Vancouver and you can win. You play like this against any of the WC playoff teams, and it's lights out, time for summer break.

That was a much better game than Calgary, but that isn't saying much. Still ahead of Nashville.

Darling looked real good. Team defense wasn't horrible. The little guy line was fun to watch, and could be something if Panarin snapped out of it.

grinded this one out....great pk with the game on the line..darling = solid...

but now they will play the wild who have alot of "want it" in their game and will want to sweep the hawks....from what i have seen the last 2 games...

better but not good enough for playoff teams....

I thought the D pairings looked better than they have in a while.

It'll keep happening until the playoffs start he's playing reserved and is trying not to get himself injured. His last injury (why he was out for most preseason games) was an upper body injury he got in the kHL from driving to the net. He'll be good to go come playoff time.

Maybe Panarin hit the wall because in his KHL Days he never played this many games in a season...give some slack , he will bounce off the wall with a couple days rest.
