Yeah, overall as a team the funk remains, though they may be slowly shaking it off. Its going to take time. So, until then, gotta start looking at the positives as they start to build up. We NEED someone to step up on D, so its good to see Ehrhoff play well. I really hope Q stays with him next game.

Panarin needs to bull the net and rip shots like his buddy Tarasenko. He slows up and looks for passes way too often.

Agree - better that Panarin gets some shifts with back pocket line(s) to build the chemistry, and hopefully, get his offense going again.

Call it snakebit or whatever you'd like, but he definitely looks hesistant to shoot. He had a mini breakaway just now and he waited to pass it!

Edit: if he's saving for the playoffs or whatever he's not gonna get many chances if they draw the Kings in the first round because they can't win enough of their remaining rs games

Hawks are snake bit - couldn't throw the puck into the ocean from the seashore right now. They're either missing the net or hitting the goalie in the crest. They're had some good chances that would normally have been buried but not lately.

Teravainen bobbled the pass from Kane and the double clutch gave Miller time to save it. Just not happening right now.

Maybe Stan told Panarin not to score until the playoffs to save cap space

again not seeing much from the top six....this nuck team is really hurting and the hawks look like they are trying to eke out a 1-0 win...

It gives the defenders way too much time to catch up to the play. Frustrating because we've all seen what he can do when he wants to. Remember the Penguins games? I think he's got a better shot than Kane, I honestly believe that.

the Defense wants to lose the game for the hawks. Also, Anisimov definitely a better fit between Kane and Panarin than TT is

Im pretty sure Toews is playing through an injury(maybe hand, wrist, shoulder, something like that) that is SERIOUSLY hindering him offensively. The more i watch him, the more i think this is the case. He's been far too putrid on the offensive end for it not to be injury related. Been that way for at least a month. A far cry from the guy that scored those flashy OT GWGs early in the season.

i can think of only 2 high quality chances on miller....

passes are off...no second chances....

they gotta get these 2 points before they lose again vs the wild...i see nothing that says this team is ready to compete...let alone win vs playoff teams

I hope he settles into a groove. He's going to be a difference maker in the playoffs if he gets to play his game. He looks largely ineffective the way he's being deployed now.

It sure would be nice to see Toews, Ladd, and Hossa start to get some solid cycles going, show some puck possession, some dominant Ozone shifts. Because thats what i thought we were going to see with those 3.
