4 behind both...yeah tough to pass both with 6 gms left....hawks would need to finish 4-2 or 5-1 and have those two go 2-4...don't think thats happening...
prob need to go .500 to hold off the preds

Dallas and the Preds play each other twice here down the stretch should be interesting...

Also commenting on what Hock mentioned the cross ice passes...bad bad bad.
The other thing that drove me nuts was the Hawks constantly looking to make the extra pass last night instead of putting it on net.

Thought Moose looked good...and Ladd has really started to pick it up.

Big test tomorrow night.

Ya, i think we are locked in to that 3rd Central spot, BUT its not time to take the foot off the gas....

NSH plays COL tonight, and then both play Tuesday vs DAL and STL respectively. so getting to play vs tired legs, STL and DAL should each get another win to stay 4 up (assuming we also beat MIN tuesday). but i dont think DAL or STL should be the focus..

This is definitely no time to let up...

I do think the more important thing is to keep fighting to out point LA and ANA. In the event we face them in the WCF, it would be nice to have home ice over them. SLT isnt bad travel situation... even Dallas isnt awful for first 2 rounds... but if we can out point (R/O Wins as tiebreaker), we can nab home ice even with the 3rd seed in central.

But, that said, with 5 games left after tuesday, the blues have a tough road. They have Boston fighting for playoff position, a back to back, and a H2H with Chicago left. Maybe they slip up and dump 1 on the B2b and then maybe we catch them on the h2h. I'm fairly certain we have the tiebreaker vs them so all we need to do is tie them. if we lose 1 they need to lose 3. Not impossible for Hawks to get home ice in 1st round.

Ehrhoff didn't get a shot on goal, but assisted on Fleischmann's goal, finished +2 in 15:11 and blocked two shots. Solid game. #Blackhawks

Good to see Moose back in. He had a couple of hits in the first period, so he will get benched again.

TT and Hossa did a nice job on the PK
Erhoff did better than others, I thought.

I'd like to see Panic back in vs the Wild. His speed/size has done well in way to limited opportunity.

Find a spot to rest TVR and the captain over the next week
Happy for the 2 pts but this level of play will not win in the playoffs

Someone tell that to Panarin who has gotten pass happy and needs to use that shot of his and fire it on net.

72 luvs the cross ice pass and the cut across the middle from the left...great on big ice surface but on smaller NHL ice that not so much...

hossa may not get 500 until mid season next year....can not finish anymore; some good chances but what used to go in does not anymore

darling was good but really that nuck team is ahl quality other than miller and the sedins and the hawks allowed that team to hang around and outplay them in the 3rd

Agreed what I like is seeing progress, PK looks much better guys are actually in the shooting lanes

Since being scratched Panik has been one of the better forwards on the ice

Nice to see the depth carrying this team for now especially since Krugs been back he's just so good defensively

As Q says the hawks need to take care of business in front of them and playing a complete game vs the wild and getting 2 to prevent the sweep and finally beating a playoff team would be nice...

JJ do you think it's more important for theHawks to try and finish 2 or 3 rd in their division. Or would you rather give the core (Keith, Seabrook, Hjalmarsson, Toews, Hossa and Kane) a couple games off before the start of the playoffs.
