Fasching: "Coach kept tapping me and tapping me and I was like 'Am I in the way or something?"

For $2.1M against the cap hit, I'll take their production this season as against the other two at $5.4M

I would agree for this current season.

Fasching had 6 minutes in the 3rd. Not sure why he didn't get much time in the second, but in the 3rd looked like he was comfortable in the game.

If he doesn't start in the NHL next year he'll be one of the first call ups

Also, didn't think Fasching looked slow. Liked like he might be a step behind but that's a bit expected for a rookie.

Yet people like Harrington still think we were wrong to root for getting Eichel. 24 more points than this time last year. Leading goal scorer is a 19 year old. Yes, we wanted our team to lose and I don't regret it. If that makes me a bad fan then so be it.

I agree. Just thought it was an interesting fact.

I was personally pulling for the L today but if we were going to win the three rookies scoring I can sit with a lot better than Bogosian or Gionta scoring.

It was something about us being on the PK so much. I caught a piece on it in the post game

That third goal was the future right there. Reinhart with the defense, great look to eichel...and then snipe

from what I read (red) and heard , he needs work to do and if he puts in the work it's teachable for the nhl level

if he doesn't work hard, he will become another mancari

I am fine if they go on a win streak and end up with pick 12

the goal is for these kids to gel and they may have a little confidence for the off season and come out firing in the fall

94 points is a realistic expectation for next season, w/o getting stamkos

I suppose that statement is true of any rookie. I think easing him in is a good idea, he puts in serious work in the summer Id bet on him making the NHL team.

Now that we've got a much better look at Reinhart this year, who do you guys think is the best forward from the 2014 draft class? Sam Bennett and Leon Draisaitl both look really solid this year too. Just wanted to see what people think?
