I don't expect to ice a rookie team next year. Benning at TDL was saying he doesn't want draft picks . He wants young players ready now. I still believe he wants to rebuild on the fly like the Bruins , and that is why I believe we will be a playoff team next year. I know I wont be cheering for a tank next year.

We have some vets, we have some youth, we have Prospects we could trade in an upgrade , and we have money.

I think SJ has done nothing.They are benefactors of a lousy division. Look out for up and comers like Fla and Buff. Sabres have a plethora of young talent , another high draft pick and 25 mil in cap space

I think they are similar to Vancouver though, in that they have had regular season success in the past with a good core, and now slowly they are trying to transition in the next wave. Their defensive core appears in better shape than the Canucks long term, and while they havent performed as well this season, I think Vancouver's forward depth is better than SJ's. If they end up trading Marleau this offseason, the return could be significant in the team's direction for next season

Tonight Jets have 5 players out.

Not skating today at Canucks practice the Twins and Hamhuis. This is a very important game to lose.

Like I said this is the last 11 games I cheer to lose . Not doing it again next year.
