Glad we didnt watch the Shark game , yikes, that was ugly... What gives with the 50-60 shots a game our beloved King is getting pummeled with...
We should take tonight's game, pretty easily, I might add. We have too much fire power up front, especially now with E. Staal...

They were basically perfect last season, it was very hard to expect that again. It's just beyond me how this fanbase is viewing this team right now, bad games or play or not.

Im not comparing to last year, Im comparing to NYR performance w/ only ten games to go till playoffs.

Im not "the sky is falling" kind of guy, but you can't dismiss NYR's play of late. One thing I could always count on was that the effort was there, but can you tell me the last COMPLETE game they've won?

The Isles, Pitt, Phili are all playing like you should during the playoff push, and NYR is playing w/out any sense of urgency, to the point that its very concerning.

I keep telling my self that they will "flip the switch," but do I really believe that?? We will see

MUST WIN tonight...PERIOD!!

I was very surprised they doubled Horny, and nothing to Crosby... but also surprised Oshie got just 1 minor when he continued to throw punches after Crosby's helmet was off and he was on the ice. That is usually a major or misconduct.

But a huge amount of missed poop at that game. Refs lost control.

But that is why I referenced the Flyer's game, not last night.

I didn't even see oshie throw one until Crosby reached over the linesman to throw his 5th punch and got off balance and fell. After taking at least 5 I counted from Crosby oshie throws a few back at him. Of course Crosby gets nothing for throwing 5 punches. Glass hugged someone during a scrum Saturday and got a roughing penalty.
